Cant believe how big my twins are measuring

I am 36weeks and baby A Is 7lbs 11oz..and baby B is 6lbs 5 oz. They can still gain another pound each before my c section on Dec1. So happy they are doing well...i cant help but wonder if I will just go into labor...anyone else have big babies and think they will go early?

    :) that's so awesome that you have healthy, happy, big twins.

    No experience with twins but I can tell you that when I had my big baby she wasn't interested in coming early lol I also know most of the time twins would go to term as long as mom has no health issues of doctors were more comfortable letting them come on their own (at least that's what I've read on the subject - since I've not had twins I haven't done the insane amount of research I normally would lol)

    Congratulations on big healthy twins! I'm a FTM and l only 1 baby but LO is measuring big so I think he'll be early.
    My cousin had twins at 35 weeks both over 6lbs, so big twins definitely happens. Best of luck to you!

    I remember during my previous pregnancy reading of a woman (in Arizona maybe) that delivered twin boys at 39 weeks and both were over 9 lbs. Big twins do seem to happen. I think we just don't think of it with hearing of so many coming early.

    From my growth scan they're estimating Bun would be over 8 lbs at term. Besides OB wanting to induce a week early I don't know that she wouldn't go overdue like her brother (8lbs 7 Oz and 22 in).

    My cousins were born at 37 weeks and each weighed a little over 7 lbs. twins can be big, too :) good luck!

    At 35 weeks my twins measured at 6.0lbs and 6.2lbs!! I had an ultrasound today (36 weeks) but they didn't do weights, just looked at movements and breathing patterns. I was 2cm dilated so my doctor is thinking I'll have them pretty soon!!! Good luck with your twins! ☺️

    I'm having a big baby and they are taking him at 36 weeks via C section. Because at 33 weeks he measured 8 lbs 11 oz.

    OMG, I thought mine was a chunk @ 6.3 @ 33 weeks. FTM so no plans for c-section. We're going to wait and see. Good luck!
