Today I found out our iui was unsuccessful, we had done a round of Femara to prepare and yes I did ovulate. So now we are doing a combined cycle. I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with that? And if you've had any success??
This is our 2nd hybrid cycle with letrizole(Femara) and Gonal-F. Last month was unsuccessful but our lining was thin during trigger and we had one small, but mature, follicle. This month we ended up with 4 mature follies and two close behind! We triggered on Monday and now just waiting to see FX for your BFP let me know how the hybrid cycle works out for you.

I did a femara and gonal f cycle my first iui in July. I got 1 mature follicle and a Bfn. This month I did clomid andgonal f and got 2 mature follicles.
I have never done femara + gonal-f, but my friend who went through 3 failed clomid and 2 failed femara cycles ended up being successful with that route. FX for your BFP!

*bfp mentionned* We did 3 femara only and TI cycle prior to my hysteroscopy/laparoscopy, all bfns despite 2-3 follies each time. We wanted to be more aggressive post-surgery, so the RE recommended 5mg of femara and 75IU of Follistim (quite similar to gonal-f). I was disappointed because my follies were growing slower and I only had one that was fully mature by the time my LH surged and I had my IUI. There were 2 more follies at 15mm the morning before the IUI. That cycle ended up being the one, despite only one mature follie. Good luck to you!
Just wanted to say good luck! I have done four rounds of femara and gonal f . 3 BFNS. 1 pregnancy but it was chemical I am encouraged though that it did work one of the times! Every time I have had really good responses with 2-3 follicles each time. Hope this works well for you!!
