AW Update (kinda) about the tirplets since the last ultrasound

Thanks everyone for thinking of me!!  We had another ultrasound on Monday and everything is pretty much the same.  The third baby is still a week behind the others and it's heartbeat has barely increased.  Right now it's just an awful waiting game.  Emotionally, it's been pretty rough!  It makes me so sad, but I'm having a hard time even bonding with the babies! (Does that make me awful??)  With my first, I was so excited and carried the ultrasound pictures with me but I can't even look at these because I don't want to get too attached yet.  I'm assuming the hormones of three babies doesn't help!  I just want to fast forward to January!  Thank you to all you ladies, your thoughts and prayers are helping so much.  Just having a place to go to helps more than you'll know!!  We having another ultrasound next week and then we'll meet with the high risk OB. 

(I tried to just put an update on my last thread, but I couldn't figure out how to update the subject line!)

    Sending T&P. It does not make you horrible at all. You are in a spot that is hatd and you aren't really sure what will happen. Keep us posted as you can.

    Sending thoughts and prayers! No, it does not make you awful to feel the way you do. I can only imagine surprise triplets come with a roller coaster of emotions, let alone the news you've recieved about little one #3. Feel what you need to feel when you need to feel it, and try to take it one day at a time.

    Hope things go well!

    I'm expecting triplets, too.  Met with the high risk dr today and found out there is a 50% chance of losing one or more before 12 weeks.  It's hard to bond with so much uncertainty.

    Are yours in seperate sacks?
    DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI!
    Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!

    Sending tons of prayers. I have one bun in the oven and stress out daily! I have the same worries and trouble bonding! Stay positive...we worry out of love! God bless

    Yes, three separate sacks.  And I'm 40, so i think that adds to the risk.  You and I are just a few days apart!  Are yours in separate sacks?

    Yep!  That is good!  I'm 28.

    Thank you, everyone, for all the kind words, nice thoughts and prayers!  This has been harder than anything I've gone through and I never would have thought that I would get so much support from an online community!  I'll never be able to express how much it has meant to me over the last two weeks!!  I will continue to update you guys; hopefully, with some good news!

    And I just realized I put tirplets in the the subject line!  How's that for pregnancy brain!  :)

    I had a hard time bonding in the 1st trimester, especially with the twins. Do not feel bad. It's alot to take in, and then every time you go to the doc you'll hear about this risk and that stat. A wise twin mom friend of mine told me to just set little goals, and celebrate as you hit each one. Hugs. Know that you have others you can lean on here. :)

    I don't think it's unnatural for you not to feel a connection at this point. With my first, I was so excited I told everyone immediately. I had PPD really bad with my son and I just realized that's probably why I'm doing everything opposite of what I did the first time.. Not like it will make a difference. ... Sorry for the side trip.. But we'll be out of the woods soon.
