in October 2015 Moms
I'm a new parent and I will be returning to work in December. Half of me can't wait but the other half wants to be at home with my girl. I'd love to stay with her full time but then we'd have 1 income. I wouldn't mind part time or maybe work from home. What do October moms think?

    Just finishing up week 9 of leave, going back 12/7 after 12 full weeks. I'm nervous for her to go to daycare since she fights taking a bottle so much and for having to transition into our "new normal", but I'm ready to have a schedule again!

    After figuring out the cost of daycare for this LO and after school care for my older kids plus gas, I would clear (after taxes and such) $75 a week. We decided that for that little bit, I will be staying home. My hubby will just pick up a couple hours of OT every week to make up the difference of not having 2 incomes.

    We decided that I'll be staying home. We don't have anyone we trust or can afford to watch our littlest. After the holidays I may find a fast food job for a few late night shifts a week so SO can be home while I'm at work but that's about it. Id love to find a work from home job to bring in extra income but I don't want any sort of Avon, thirty one, pampered chef, etc

    We won't put A in day care. I worked in 1 for many years and the cost is out of this world!?! Thankfully we got our family here to help watch her. But I still want to be at least part time. My husband and I are thiking about it. He will be starting a new job next year with schedule of 1pm-10pm. So with that I could work in mornings and be home around noon to watch her the rest of the day.

    There is a website called ratrace.com it was listed in red book as a good site for finding work from home jobs. That's what I'm aiming for. I don't want to leave dd and both of our parents still work so no luck there with babysitters. Fortunately I have some time and can be really picky about where I go and what work I do.
