Progesterone after iui

Anyone take progesterone after their iui? Did you have side effects?
In the past I've taken crinone and my boobs got a little sore and I maybe had a few cramps but nothing major at all
This month in on prometrium taken vaginally and it's only been 2 days but I'm pretty crampy. Not super painful but just annoying and uncomfortable. Is this normal? Should I ask the nurse or see about switching back to crinone?

    I took it for the first time this month. I am not pregnant but it appears to have lengthened my LP.
    I generally felt fine while taking it except (TMI) it made my vagina so itchy.
    I would take it before bed (around 10pm) and like clockwork I would be up at 2am unable to sleep due to the insane itchiness. 

    FWIW, it's normal for me to be crampy during my LP without progesterone. If it's mild, I wouldn't worry about it.

    Jan 10, 2016: Cycle 16. Femara 5mg + IUI #3 - BFN.
    Feb 10, 2016: Cycle 17.  No IUI or meds. Taking a break - Natural BFP Mar 5, 2016!!!! EDD Nov 16, 2016
    Moving to IVF March 2016
    Beta at 10dpo: 21, Beta at 12dpo: 98, Beta at 14dpo: 264, Beta at 16dpo: 745
    U/S 6w6d: single beautiful heartbeat of 121bpm - It's a boy!!!!

    I took prometrium vaginally after all 3 of my IUI cycles. I ate yogurt every day, fearing a yeast infection from all the discharge and dampness. Luckily, no infection but lots of pms/early pregnancy symptoms i.e. breast tenderness, bloating, cramps, etc. Also, I ate non stop. Everything I could eat, I did. I was always hungry.
    It's tough to know what is normal when you are on meds since every cycle I had new symptoms or side effects from the Clomid and progesterone.

    Progesterone mimics pregnancy symptoms, so they can cause a whole range of fun symptoms.  Also, Progesterone will likely delay AF until you stop it.
