TTC Spotting Prior to Implantaion

My husband and I had a miscarriage in September and have started TTC. I was sure I was having implantation bleed as I had very minor spotting (when I went to the washroom) randomly the past 2 days. Today it was more mucus like and look like what I've known to be implantation bleed in past pregnancies. Since the m/c I'm not sure of my dates... Is it possible to have some minor spotting prior to Implantaion? Or does it sound like AF is just en route?
