GTKY: When are you planning to tell parents, families and friends? - disregard, found old thread

We are really undecided on this and I am curious what other folks are planning to do. This is our first and I want to tell my mom, so we can talk prego bodies and things like that, but we want to be fair, so that means telling all the parents, and we just aren't sure considering we are still only four and a half weeks. What did you do/are you planning?

Personally I'm waiting until after my first dr appt to tell our parents. Most likely the rest of the family will be after 12 weeks. Everyone else will just be as I see them in person.

Ah thanks, not sure how I missed that. Doi! I did search, but maybe I expanded to too many boards.
