Well my MIL is here for a few days. As some of you know my husband is considering leaving me. His mom has absolutely no idea anything is going on and is with me all day while he's at work. I haven't said anything to her yet but if she asks I don't intend to lie to her about it. It's really weird to be here with her right now though, since she's being super sweet and cleaning my house while I get some rest. I want to say something and see what she thinks (we get along very well) but I don't know the tactful way to bring up the subject. Should I wait until she asks about us or should I bite the bullet and just say something?
Re: MIL visiting
So if I bring it up to her, how should I do it? I don't wanna just be like "Oh hey, by the way...your son is talking about leaving me and your grandchildren. Thought you should know. What do you want for dinner?"
