Burping

Do you breastfeeding moms burp your babies ? I've read that if you breast feed that you don't have to burp your baby but mine gets super fussy and makes these grunting noises after nursing . Is this a sign of gassiness? Do you guys burp between breasts or after a feeding ? Mine always falls asleep so I can barely get a burp out of him and when I lay him down he gets so fussy. Helpppp? !

    Yes! I'm EBF and burp after every feeding, sometimes during feedings too. She burps nearly every time. There's another thread on here where someone attached a video link for a different way to help babies burp (other than the typical throw them over your shoulder and pat them on the back).

    My LO is an aggressive eater, so she guzzles! I burp between breasts and after eating and she usually burps!

    I burp between breasts and anytime he falls asleep at the breast otherwise he gets fussy
