I got LO's Magic sleep suit yesterday I went with the cotton. I am trying it out during naps today. I am really trying to find some sort of schedule for him. But I don't know if I'm the only one. I feel locked down in the house if his schedule gets too strict because we wouldn't dare leave the house over his nap time. It's hard balancing schedule and then still being able to go out and about. And yes he can slee in the car or stroller but it is not the same good slee I don't think anyways. He is napping in is magic suit now. So far so good. I want to fall asleep with the nap haven I made for him. He has always been a good Napper, but I am hoping for him to wake up less at night instead 12,2,5 and up for the day at 6:30. We will see.
Work is blah today, so many people are getting sick with the weather changes, so I am extra cautious when i get home and around LO. He is starting to outgrow his car seat, so we are in the market for a convertible one..... and ideas or recomendations?
@KAR8706 My son is also outgrowing his car seat and I don't know which one to buy. I thought the one I bought would last until his first year but decided only 4 months was enough lol
On another note my son is fascinated with the high pitch sounds he can make. He loves doing those sounds at night when everyone is sleeping. I on the other hand just laugh because he just has too much fun with himself. I love that he is finding more things about himself and learning to do new things!
@n3na94 LO is also discovering new shrieking noises he can make and he thinks it's pretty funny. I do too, just not at 2am.
Crappy night, LO was up at 2:30 to eat then woke up screaming at 4. I think his teeth hurt. I nursed him, cuddled him til he fell asleep then put him back in his PnP around 5am. I'm getting very little sleep with this teething situation. I know one day he will sleep all the way through!
Today my DH has off so this morning I didn't have to do drop off at Grandma's, just got myself ready like the olden days. Made it to work by 8am and that was with a stop at Dunkin Donuts for breakfast. No traffic that early either. Amazing.
We are getting a convertible for lo as well. We decided on the graco 4ever. I recommend going to the car seat for the littles facebook page. The car seat techs on there can help with recs based on age weight and height of your lo and what car you drive. They can also help with install and any questions you have. Definitely taught me alot about car seats!
LO took 2 two hour naps in his crib with magic sleep suit on!! Let's hope tonight goes just as good! Our dr. Gave us the go ahead on starting cereal but I'm nervous, has anyone started cereal yet? I was thinking of starting it this weekend before bed to see what happens.
We started! She loves it. We were given the go ahead to start fruits and veggies too. I've been making her cereal and fruit purée for breakfast and a veggie with her dinner. She is breastfed for all other feedings.
If I could make one recommendation, try it for the first time in the morning to see how baby reacts. You might regret it if baby reacts poorly before bedtime. I did a tablespoon and mixed it with my breast milk. Good luck!
I've also been given the go to start cereal but I'm a little nervous after he tries fruits and veggies for a meal, he won't want milk. My friend is going through this with her little one.im just hoping he will adapt to the purée and still want his milk. Has anyone's baby refused milk when they started on purée or is there a particular way you feed her. Any input or strategies would be appreciated! Thank you!
