Who'd like to start a FB group? This app hardly works right, it's hard for me to find posts, and see pictures. Would you guys join? I was in one for March 2014 babies and it was great!

If you do a search there's about 157 fb threads and you can probably join one of their groups of you want. I think anyone that wanted a fb group this early is probably already there.

I have searched Facebook multiple times for May 2016 groups and I can't find any. I think there is a secret one but I can't get the person to add me from here! I'd love to be a part of one.

I'm the admin for a group on facebook. Pm me your email if you'd like an invite,(ETA) though I'm not really sure how to invite people using just the email when I'm not friends with them(I'm new to this), so you'll receive a friend request. PM me and we can talk logistics!

The only reason I foresee not wanting to join a group is hormonal women. I mean seriously women can be so hateful.

I'm just curious. The entirety of your contributions to TB are contained in this thread. Why do you feel it is appropriate to come to a group you haven't participated in, don't know anything about, and actively recruit people to leave?

I don't understand this FB nonsense. I didn't join a FB group with my last BMB until my daughter was over 1. The more people leave here, the more dead it will be here. Why do you want to join a bunch of strangers on FB who can see all of your info anyway???

It was just a question. A yes or no question at that. I actually have been a part of this whole community for years considering I have four kiddos. I know from the past a group always gets started and just curious if anyone had one or wanted to start one. No harm in it.

It's posts like this that make me VERY skeptical of ever joining a FB group. A brand-new user, who has never contributed to The Bump is trying to get women to come to FB, share their identities and pictures of their children, etc. Um...no thanks.

The initial FB group is closed to new members unless a current member knows the individual personally.

Nope, I'm good with the community here. I've heard waaaay too many catfishing stories and other scary stuff happening from people on TB joining a FB group.

Most people don't mean any harm, but some people do. There are some pretty insane stories from the bump where identities, money and members sense of security were all robbed from someone the community thought they knew so well. It's a sad truth that being this cautious and "reactive" is very much necessary.

^^All of this. OP may have the best of intentions, but until I get to know more you of better and have a sense of who the regulars are, I have no interest in sharing my identity or my family with you. I have been a part of the fall out when crazies run wild so I will wait until closer to May to join any FB groups.
