TWW post (week of 11/9 - 11/15)

Hi everyone! This is a two week wait post for anyone who is in or soon will be in the TWW. Tell us your symptoms (no matter how crazy they may be!), how many DPO you are, and when/if you'll test. Good luck everyone!

Well, I *think* I'm 2 dpo, but FF hasn't given me crosshairs yet. I did have a positive OPK on Saturday, but my temps were a little erratic in the beginning of my cycle. DH and I did manage to BD O-3, O-2, O-1 and O. Trying not to test until at least 12 dpo. We'll see what happens!

I'm sooo jealous of your timing, @PattersRN!

I'm fairly certain I'm 1dpo, but FF will confirm in two days. Our timing was -2. I tried to get DH to do it on O day, but he said, "next month." ~X( His mom goes home the day after tomorrow. If this month doesn't work, I want it three times a day for a week next month. He owes me.

Trust me, that took a lot of effort. There was one night in there that he had a late symphony rehearsal, I was dead asleep when he got home but I texted him to wake me up because we have to have sex

Timing issues are the worst. I'm 2 DPO and our timing was -6, -4, -2, +1. DH was playing video games until the wee hours of the morning on Saturday (O day) - annoying. I try to keep it as natural as possible, so I refrained from being too obvious about it, but come on... at least the rest of the timing looks pretty decent, so we'll see.

We typically go for EOD around fertile week, because we haven't done a SA for DH yet -- but next month, I'm thinking about upping our game to daily to see if that might help. Who knows?!

I won't test until the 22nd (allegedly.) We have our first RE appointment scheduled for December 29, so we will take the next steps if we haven't had any success by then. I feel like I'm on the clock (even more than usual!)

@PattersRN, I think we're living parallel lives, although I think I'm only 1dpo. We also hit (pun intended) -3,-2,-1, and O. It nearly killed us, but I'm hoping it was worth it. I'm heading out of town for a conference tomorrow and won't be back until Saturday night, so it'll be nice to have something to focus on other than the TWW. If I don't start spotting before, I'm planning on POAS on the 21st or 22nd. This cycle is my last shot at having #2 before my 38th birthday, so fx.

Confession: my temp jumped today (finally), but FF still wouldn't give me crosshairs. I put a "dummy temp" in for tomorrow just so I can see the crosshairs. I am indeed 3 dpo

Ugh. I think AF is starting to start. I was so excited when she didn't show up this morning and was starting to convince myself that this was it! But just had some brownish discharge (sorry--TMI) and that's kind of how she started last month. Adjusting expectations now. If she's gonna start, she'd better make herself known ASAP so our fertile window comes before thanksgiving! I do NOT want to skip a month if we are, in fact, out this month. Of course, part of me is still holding out hope that that wasn't AF starting. We shall see....

FX she comes or BFP! The further I get into the months TTC the harder it is to see AF show up. Do something fabulose for yourself either way.

Thanks, gals. She showed up definitively this morning. I am struggling. I have a huge day at work, though, that includes interviewing 6 job candidates, so I have to keep it together. The good news is the timing will mean my fertile window should happen before we are with family for thanksgiving. Onward and upward, I suppose.

Thanks, thanks. Each time I read these, I get teary because of how much it matters to be understood. Thank you. No time to wallow, but I am drinking the first Diet Coke I have had in months! LO was up puking all night last night, so I need the caffeine and something to keep me together since no sleep plus AF plus insane work day adds up to a very fragile me. Hopefully DH will be up to the task of consoling and helping me get myself back together tonight.

I am brand new. I've been lurking waiting to be promoted to member. I found this group by googling symptoms post ovulation. This is my first time and first cycle trying to conceive. My O day was approximately Nov 12 so I am in the thick of the TWW. I honestly am surprised how anxious and impatient I am. I am 38 and my DH is 45, newly married in February. Kept waiting to try. I have lots of friends who have had fertility issues so I thought I'd be chill especially the first go around. I really did/do not expect to conceive in the first try but it is still frustrating to wait to find out.

I have had unusual symptoms. Lots of fullness in my belly, some gas, gurgling, some cramps. I don't usually have symptoms so far out from AF. I'm due for that on Thanksgiving. I wouldn't think I would symptom spot so soon as my hopes aren't that high yet, but it is the weirdest thing. Maybe I've just been eating too much cheese. No clue but I have definitely felt off and it's not normal for me.

I have 3 FRER tests. Waiting to test on Sunday. I did do a prelim test on Wed with a dollar store test, no surprise it was negative. Hopefully I will get an answer this weekend otherwise I will wait and see if AF arrives as scheduled so I know if I can have some wine at Thanksgiving!

I think I'm out too... BFN yesterday and starting to get bitchy/crampy. AF due tomorrow. Holiday fun awaits - still sucks, though. GL to those still in for this cycle!

@jilligan14 thanks... It's a bummer, again. We have our first RE appointment scheduled for the end of December, although we may need to move it to January with our holiday travel schedule. I think we will keep doing what we're doing (vitamins, OPKs, etc.) until the RE gives us some clue of what could be wrong. My ovulation seems to be normal per the OPKs, and I thought I had a short luteal phase so I started vitamin B last cycle. I had a weird, super short cycle (18 days) that month but this month I'm back to my normal 26 day cycle and my LP is 3 days longer! Had a Saline Sonogram (with the balloon - ouch) done at the OB office last month and they didn't see anything wrong. We've had one chemical in July and we've been trying for more than a year. I'm 35, so it's time to suck it up and see the specialists... Ugh. Not looking forward to that, but maybe there will be some answers on the horizon. Thanks for asking!
