10 weeks and no symptoms...

Hi all,

Just wanted to see if anyone was in the same boat as me! I am 10 weeks (as of yesterday) with my first and I'm not really feeling pregnant! I had an ultrasound a few weeks ago that showed everything was normal, little heart pumping away, but I'm still feeling nervous that something is going wrong!

I'm sleepy and cry a lot but thats about it.

Let me know if you are feeling the same way or are in a similar situation! Good luck to all :)

Re: 10 weeks and no symptoms...

  • @cassiopeia5 I feel the same way!!!!! I'm 9 weeks and 2 days and I feel nothing... Some occasional RLP and a little tiny bit nauseous... I also don't feel like eating a lot of things but I feel totally fine other than that stuff and being really tired!! I haven't had an ultrasound yet and I won't for 9 more days!

Maybe we are just lucky ?? :) it's my first pregnancy

  • Being sleepy and crying a lot sound like typical first trimester symptoms to me :)

Morning sickness is very common but about 20% of women don't get it at all, so you're just one of the lucky ones! I'm almost 10 weeks and have had very mild symptoms too. I felt totally normal until about 7 weeks, and the past week or so I've felt totally normal again. In between I had some very mild, fleeting nausea that was easy to manage by eating small amounts frequently. That's about it.

  • Me too! This is my third pregnancy (2 healthy beautiful babies so far sitting in the back seat of my minivan!)... BUT I STILL GET PARANOID when I don't have symptoms! I didn't have strong symptoms with my boys and I worried. No morning sickness whatsoever. I have an ultrasound Friday and I cannot wait for it! Ugh! Praying to see a little flickering heart! I know we should be excited about not having symptoms but for real- it's a little unsettling to say the least!
  • Mine are mild as well and not constant. I just have moments where I am slightly nauseous ( eating something small usually takes it away) moments of tiredness, and days that my boobs are sore. Besides that nothing. no food aversions or cravings, no vomiting, no strong smells.

I was nervous too, but so far baby is healthy. I will be 8 weeks tomorrow. I take it day by day
  • I'm also 10w and don't feel anything but minor fatigue now.  Even my boobs are getting less tender.

  • Its really freaking me out- I'll be 7 week on Wednesday and finally getting my ultrasound.  My breast are not as tender and I don't notice any food aversions or cravings.  I have noticed a few instances of nausea- but its usually around lunch time or dinner time and I'm not too nauseous to eat (and I then the nausea goes away).  I know I should be more exited that I feel fine (I didn't with my last pregnancy and hated everyone that said they didn't have any morning sickness)- but at least when I am nauseous I feel pregnant.

  • My first pregnancy was silent in terms of symptoms.  I only got bigger.  This time around, it is much different!  Every pregnancy is so different, just hang in there and and be glad that's all you have :-)

  • @cassiopeia5 first, a side note: I love your screen name. :)
I was the same way with my first. I didn't have any big symptoms until my second trimester, then MS hit.
  • I am in the SAME BOAT! Although weeks 6-9 were really tough for me. I mean fatigue beyond belief, nausea at the look and smell of everything, vommitting atleast once a day, moods swinging in every direction. I had an ultrasound at 9w1d and everything was great, but by the start of week 10 pretty much all of my symptoms had faded away. My boobs are still sore and exhaustion hits around 2pm, but almost zero nausea and even my mood swings have calmed down... I'm now 10w5d and have an appointment this week at 11w1d I've got my fingers crossed that everything looks great and I'm just coming out of my first trimester symptoms.
  • I had my first appt today!! I thought I might be around ten weeks but our peanut only measures 7. I have no symptoms beyond some tiredness. I hope it stays that way!! Bonus is my new due date is my birthday!!
  • My first pregnancy I didn't have any symptoms. This one I'm sick non stop. Be glad you got lucky and the symptoms fairy hasn't paid you a visit yet ;)
  • Thank you all for your comments!! I know I should just be thankful that it is going well :) Next appt is Nov 30 so I'll get to see the little babe again!

Thanks for easing my mind :)
  • Same here!! I'm 7w5d and I've felt pretty great - some nausea and very tired, but no morning sickness - I was nervous for a while but it seems like we got lucky! FTM here as well :) excited for my 1st ultrasound next Tuesday!
  • I'm 10.5 weeks and my nausea started fading a few days ago. Thank god!
