victory dance!! share yours!

Let me start this off by praying..."dear God please dont let me jinx myself here". But ive had a small victory wi th my baby girl tonight!!! I put her down in her rocker next to my bed at 12...she slept until 3! That is the longest stretch at night! So we did a quick feed and i found that i have a weighted swaddle..so i figured hey whatnharm can it do. Normally she HATES her crib as she fidgets too much. And she hates swaddles with her arms in. So...it is now 421am and she is in her crib...lower half swaddled with the weighted swaddle and shes asleep!!!!!!! Couldnt help but do a little dance around the room!!
I will add me and DH had a night off oast night to go to the Marine Corp Birthday ball. My cousin babysat. So maybe im just more refreshed...but im excited!!!

    My LO will put himself to sleep at night! We give him a bath and bottle at 9 usually in the crib at ten. Sometimes he goes right to sleep and sometimes he fidgets and fusses for a while but then he goes to sleep on his own.

    Congratulations! We had a 5 hour stretch night before last. My first son was and still kind of isn't a good sleeper at 2.5 (didn't sleep through the night until he was 1) so I'm cautiously optimistic that this little man might be.

    We were given a swing yesterday and while I didn't get much sleep last night my littl guy is sleeping in the swing now :-) he hasn't daytime napped well for days!

    I slept in the bed after sleeping in a recliner for 2.5 weeks post c section. Baby sleeps in the room with us so not only do I get some husband cuddles, I get a little more night time help between feedings because he can hear LO.

    Yay! Similar... Baby seems to consistently having a long (4 hour) stretch of sleep in the early evening. We've been working on getting him to push it back. Well, tonight I changed him and wrapped him up and laid him down in the pack n play around 7:30 while I went to the bathroom. He wasn't fussy so I was doing a few things. 20 minutes later, he was fast asleep. He looks totally passed out, so I'm thinking he will be asleep for a while!

    I have gotten comfortable BF baby while in public and when I'm wearing her in the baby bjorn! Makes life easier :)

    I figured out how to use this carrier I was given!! I keep adjusting it to get it right but doing it on my own and having Damien calm down as soon as it was tightened and tied is a great feeling. Now to do housework I'd otherwise never get done

    I made it to and from the grocery store with the baby by myself without either of us crying! (He's 2 and a half weeks) I wore him in the Ktan and he fell asleep by the time I was finished with the produce section. I may have forgotten a few things, but still a win in my book!

    I slept last night! Lol my little boy has his days and nights confused but last night he finally fell asleep at 4 and stayed asleep until 8! And we're also finally getting the hang of breast feeding. We still have a lot of work but we're getting there.

    LO slept from 930-6 and only got up once for a 30 min feed and went right back to bed! I feel like a new woman

    I have another one that I'm super excited about! Kade is a week old today and last night was his first night he slept in the crib the whole time. We put it in our room so it was also the first time in over a week my husband and I slept in the same bed together. I'm so super excited about this!!!

    Today is the first day in a while that Damien is chill while being awake. Not searching and rooting, not crying, just sitting my arms relaxing or making faces. I feel like he's a brand new baby this morning!

    And SO gave me about three hours of uninterrupted sleep this morning! I feel rejuvenated lol
