Blue dye pregnancy test efficiency ?!

I've recently taken a pregnancy test by the brand Early Result. Originally the test came out positive, but when I picked it up the next day it showed a negative result. I've read online that blue due pregnancy tests are "notorious for false positives." I also read on the instructions of the test to disregard any change after 10 minutes. So I'm really confused as to what to believe. I'm only 4 weeks so it'll be a little while until I'll actually go to the doctors but I'd really like some advice. Thanks !

    Pee on more things. Let us know how they turn out. Also read the instructions. There's a time window listed when you should check your results, before or after and they're inaccurate.

    I have used blue dye tests from Family Dollar and they've been consistent with other pink dye tests (negative when not pregnant, positive when pregnant). However, in very early pregnancy when the line is faint, it is really easy to see a false positive. Best to get a pink dye test to confirm. I like the ones from the Dollar Tree. Yes, after a few hours, the line gets quite faint with some tests.

    I got a positive on a blue test three months ago, yup wasn't pregnant then (or I have a big surprise coming at my first ultrasound). I no longer trust the blue tests.

    I agree to go get a pink dye test like a FRER... BUT, for the love of all that is holy, DO NOT POST THE PIC! Good luck!

    I see you've been a member since May 1. Posting a picture of a pregnancy test or asking if we think you are pregnant is a TOU violation. (Terms Of Use aka the rules which is pinned to the top of every board labeled "Bump Guidelines." The only place where one can post pics of pregnancy tests is in the 1st trimester board on the thread "What Does A Positive Pregnancy Test Look Like.") you should definitely read the User Guidelines.

    Anyhow, please do update us but not by posting a picture. Fx you get a BFP tomorrow!
