? for formula feeding moms

I am going to start supplementing my DS's feedings with some formula b/c my milk supply is starting to tank. I was wondering what type of water you use with the formula? Do you use regular tap water, bottled water, distilled water? I looked at the instructions on the can and all it says is water..so I'm unsure which type to use.

We use tap b/c our area is known to have a high quality water supply.

i have a brita filter on my sink faucet. I use that - if i am out I bring a bottle of water or i pre measure the water from the sink.

DD is on whole milk now but this is what I always did when she was still FF:

Most people will tell you that you can use tap water if yours is safe/clean. Ours is NOT (it's disgusting, I won't even boil it and use it) so I always used bottled water. Not like Dasani or Aquafina though. Just regular bottled water. I think Nursery Water is a waste of $$ but that's just my opinion.

I use filtered water from our fridge. Recently though, DS has been freaking out if the water is too cold because of teething. So, we still use the fridge water, but let it get to room temp before adding the formula.
