Honest Company Prenatel Vitamins

I've searched the boards and can't quite find an answer to my question.  Honest Company sells a whole-food prenatal that has over 100% Vit A, Vit D, and K.  These are all Fat soluble vitamins and I know overdose on VIt A can have major effects on the baby! 

I asked my doctor about the difference in consuming Vit A in my diet vs. in pill form and he said to treat them separate.  As long as I don't go over 100% with the pill form then all is good.  Does anyone have any advice and know why they would put over 100% of RDA in these prenatal vitamins and most importantly if it is safe?
