Multiples Check In

Hey everyone! It's been a little bit since we've had a check in with our multiples mamas. How is everyone doing/feeling? Anything to report about babies?

I'm 24 weeks tomorrow and the twins are moving like mad! Yesterday DH and I spent a good hour watching them try to knock the remote off of my tummy. It was pretty entertaining. I've been VERY crampy today but have an OB appointment tomorrow so I'm sticking it out till then.

Nothing to report that has really changed! It is crazy to feel the different babies moving. One is facing towards the back and one towards the front. So I know which one is kicking!

Everything is pretty good here! Babies measured great at anatomy scan two weeks ago. I have a high anterior placenta, so I can only feel the babies down low most of the time. DH hasn't felt them move yet, but I think it's mostly because he doesn't know what he's feeling for. I'm looking forward to them visibly moving, only because I know how much it will entertain him! Only persistent symptom is exhaustion. I don't know where that supposed second trimester energy is!

Hey ladies! We had our high risk appt yesterday for our first growth scan. Both babies look great and are each measuring 1lb4oz. They are head to head and move like crazy! Looking forward to hitting our first milestone- viability- next Saturday!

I have a question. I am just about 25 weeks. Up till now my symptoms weren't bad other than morning sickness. However, this last week my bump bumped out and I look pregnant and I feel it. I am short of breath and everything is harder (halls doubled in length, I swear). Anyone else experiencing this? Is this a multiples thing? My doc told me early on the my symptoms would feel like I was 1-1.5 months further in pregancy than I am because there are two.

Hope it's ok I comment on here! But Ya you will definitely be feeling like you are a lot farther along because you have two babies in there! I was definitely feeling like that around 26-27 weeks. Just make sure you don't overdo it and rest when needed! Hang in there!

I'm right there with you. I'm student teaching and my classroom is at the end of the hall and up the stairs. Let me just say that it's killing me! I am so ready for Dec. to graduate and be able to stay off my feet some.

Oh I feel you! 26+1 and feel like my back is going to break today. I am struggling chasing my 9 month old around and still working. Something has to give. Probably going to be done with work in a couple of weeks.

I am much bigger at 26w with the twins than with my DD!

I have my next appointment on Wed and I am seriously considering asking about when/if she would support my decision to be done with school/work for the semester. I've completed everything I need to for paperwork and all that jazz, so I'm just ready to be done. I love my kids and the class and all, but I hurt so much!

Just got a note- I will be done on 12/1- just shy of 30 weeks. I want to try to keep these babies in as long as I can!

I'm going to be done with the physical part of my work (teaching drama to preschoolers) by Dec 15th. I'll continue to run the business from my home, but I plan to do it from the couch and keep these kiddos cooking!

As of right now my last day is Dec. 10 which really isn't bad, but my personal goal is just Thanksgiving Break which starts the 25th.

I am so jealous. My last day is as close to my due date as i can get. Need to save the time off for after.

Yeah I don't have much of an option. I graduate two days after that lol. Then I'm taking the spring and summer to find a full time job teaching and just raising my kiddos. We tried to time it so we would have lots of time with the kids.
