I'm trying to finish my TV shows, at the moment it's Jane the Virgin (so good) And also complete all my video games, as is my SO. So much to do. Such little time...
Besides waiting a week and a half so I can go on maternity leave and finally gather enough energy to CLEAN THIS HOUSE (so sad I am so excited about it lol! Never have been so excited about concentrated Lysol before) I would love to catch Spectre. We were going to go last night but I fell asleep . I'd love to see Star Wars but in best case scenario baby is going to be 10 days old then so I guess I'm going to miss it. I told SO who is a HUGE fan to go with my brother (who suggested seriously the name Leia that's how crazy he is) and enjoy himself.
We saw the Martian last month and I thought that it might be my last movie for awhile, but I really want to see Mockingjay part 2 and Specter (which I keep calling scepter). And Star Wars as well. Batman v Superman will be out after baby comes and I need to a) find a theater that lets you bring an infant or b) find someone I trust to watch him for 2 hours! We (hubby and I) will be so disappointed to miss it in the theater!!
We definitely want to see star wars! I'm due Christmas day, so hopefully we'll be able to see it!
I don't really care about going to the movies otherwise, but would like to see some kind of Christmas show, either the nutcracker ballet or trans-siberian orchestra. I'm hesitant to buy tickets, though. Kind of expensive if we end up not being able to go!

FYI - if you've never seen Trans-Siberian Orchestra before, then you're in for an amazing show. HOWEVER - be aware that it's a 3 hour concert with NO intermission. At least it was when I went 2 years ago.
DH and I want to see Spectre, Mockingjay, and maybe the new Frankenstein film. I desperately want to see Star Wars, but that isn't happening since I'm not allowed to go past my 12/11 EDD. We're on our own for Thanksgiving, so we'll try to do something special then as well. But we usually love to go on dinner dates, which is much harder with my GD. Sigh. Guess we'll have to get creative!
My bff got us Thursday night sneak peak tickets to Mockingjay so we can finish off the series together. I know I'll pee twice during but I plan to use the movie pee app to time it. I'll also do, as usual, and go seen it that following Saturday with DH and I'll pee at different times.

I used to go every year, but haven't gone the past two because the dates they were here didn't work out. I haven't even looked at when they're here yet, so it may not even be a possibility.
We saw Spectre yesterday and I peed twice before it started and wound up being able to go the whole 2.5 hours without needing to go! It was pretty awesome.
Omg yes to Star Wars! I'm due the 14th, and hubby graduates the 18th. The plan is to go see the movie after graduation. We are going to get tickets to SW and if I can't go, it's fine. Baby's Moby wrap is part of my costume, just in case....
What movies, outings, events, etc are you trying to cram in before baby arrives?
We went to see Spectre last night. I want to see Mockingjay and the Night Before and I'd love to see Star Wars, but I doubt that's going to happen.
What a great thread with an actual point! Applause to you! We will be having one final date night for my bday and seeing mockingjay! Can't wait. Also would love to squeeze in a pedicure with my five year old.
Mockingjay will be my birthday celebration too! We're planning on going to the Tuesday before Thanksgiving because the movie theater here has $2 concessions on Tuesdays.
I'm excited to see the final movie, but Mockingjay was my least favorite book of the series and I'm pissy they turned it into 2 movies.

I'm kind of mad too, just because they draw it out and make you wait a year. And I'm hoping we can find a date to go where it won't be too busy!

Say whaaaaaaa?????? I LOVED Mockingjay the most! And I am really happy they split it because it means 2 more hours of film to watch t incorporate more of the book. But I'm a super HG nerd and me and the bff have hand painted Mockingjay shoes that we wear when we go to these movies.
Eta- my bff, mother and husband all asked if I'd wear a diaper to this movie since I have to pee constantly with 4 feet kicking my bladder.... I've ruled it out with 95% certainty.
@suchaglencoco - I like you, so I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt about Mockingjay being your favorite book. As a Political Scientist who studies war, I can see the value of Mockingjay. My favorite part is the end when she makes the choice of who to shoot - trying not to do any spoilers - that's the best part of the book. Otherwise, I just think Katniss is such a wimp and nothing like her badass self.

Oh totally agree! She's a complete wimp and cry baby. I just like the action WAY more, especially with the Pods and the different personality of Peeta not being such a pushover and lover boy. And the ending you're tip toeing around (much appreciated) I agree 100%. That's what I had hoped for the entire book.

Man, it must've been a while since I read the book. I don't remember her getting wimpy in the end
Next weekend, husband and I are going away for 2 nights (just saying in the city at a hotel) Weekend after is the Santa train with my 2 daughters (I can't believe my almost 19 year old was into it, but she is excited lol) Weekend after that is the Christmas Marketplace at a historic site in Toronto. Weekend after that is the nighttime Santa Claus parade in our little town.
Sometime in there, I'm going to see Mockingjay all by myself (YAY!).
@kristen2b, the end of the book she is good but the first half it's all "whoa is me. I don't want to be the Mockingjay. I got Peeta captured. Wah, wah, wah."
I'm pumped to see Creed! I love all the Rocky movies. My Dad is all about it too... I'm due Dec 3 and it comes out Thanksgiving so it'll be close but I'm all about going if DD is still in there. My Mom went and saw Rocky 3 when she was super pregnant with me... I think of it as a tradition passed on

I think at this point of the series her emotional state is so shot that she can't handle it. Especially when Peeta goes nuts. I liked the book but I cried so much when great characters die. It was like Harry Potter but at a lesser degree lol! Writers are cruel but I get it. People have to die for it to be meaningful. I'm sure I'll bawl my eyes out at the end.

Oh for sure! I *think* I saw Katniss about to witness the big death in a preview and I started gettin choked up and angry. It'll be interesting to see how they do it compared to how bad it was in my mind.
I'm hoping to get a Christmas Tree and start decorating, making gifts and baking treats with my two older kiddos BEFORE the baby comes. There's so much to do around the house to get ready for baby. I'm a huge holiday person and I'm afraid they'll be swallowed this year. Lol

Don't read Game of Thrones, then! Haha! All the characters you love die in horrible tragic ways!

We LOVE movies especially in the theater!
