hey everyone I'm new here! I've been reading a lot of boards and I really love the support you give one another. My DH (28) and I (20) have been TTC for just over a year now. Planned on (finally) going to the doctor after a year but she's been out since early July. I come here hoping to get some actual advice and support other then the usual "it will happen when the time is right" or "have you tried standing on your head after sex? it worked for me!" or my personal favorite "I know how you feel, it took me 3 months to conceive my baby ". I do get that I am young and I have my whole life for it to happen, but its just so frustrating to see all of my friends and family being able to get pregnant without even trying and I'm over here a year into it and still nothing. Im sure you all can relate to the hopeless feeling that you get every month when you finally think that this could be it but then mother nature comes knocking. I am here for support, as it feels like no one around me can understand the great deal of hurt, hope and anguish i feel. so I'm hoping you guys can be that support system for me! Its nice to meet you all!!

    Welcome! A lot of the women on this board can relate to what you are going though. Feel free to jump in on the WTO and TWW threads.

    Me 34 DH 36 Married since July 2010 
    MFI (High DNA Fragmentation) & Mild endometriosis
    TTC #1 since June 2015 
    Aug 2016 - May 2017  6 IUI's with letrozole - BFN
    April 2017 - laparoscopy to remove mild endo
    June 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU - Cancelled early ovulation, no eggs retrieved. 
    Aug/Sept 2017 - Mini IVF letrozole 12.5mg, Gonal-F 75IU, cetrotide - 13 eggs retrieved, 11 mature
    5 eggs ICSI'd 6 eggs frozen - 1 day 5 blast transfered, 2 expanded blast frozen - BFP!
    May 2018 - Baby girl born - Our Joy

    TTC #2 since July 2019
    July 2019 - FET - BFN
    Jan 2020 - FET - canceled due to family health issues
    Mar 2020 - FET - low beta - chemical pregnancy
    July 2020 - ICSI'd remaining 6 eggs - 3 fertilized - 2 survived to early blast stage, transfered both - Chemical Pregnancy

    It sucks, we know. I never had to wait a year, and last time I tried to conceive it did only take me a few months but the first bfn and af's arrival hurt, and I can imagine it never grts easier, just worse. I am saddened you, or anyone, has that heartbreak

    I hope your doctor comes back and you get the attention you need. I wish with all my heart your stay is short and you have a beautiful child.

    Welcome!! It's crazy how hard TTC is for some and not for others. Hope you find the WTO and TWW boards helpful, they keep me sane while on this journey!
    Expecting baby #1 August 2016 
    Already have three furbabies- Blake, Sydney, and Chester

    I completely understand everything you are saying. DH and I tried 1 year with DD #1 and now we are on 9 months for #2. Everyone around seems to get pregnant not even by trying! I just don't get it. It's impossible, at least for me, to not stress every single month. I wish you lots of luck!
