right side hurts during sex

hi ladies
when i have sex with my husband i have this unbearable pain on my left side so much that we usually stop mid way.
is this normal during pregnancy or there is an underlying problem?

Also, you should abstain from sex until you speak to your doctor and figure out why it hurts your left/right side.

So is it both sides that hurt during sex? Because the title says right side and your post says left ?
