There have been a few ladies measuring large. These measurements are guesses and don't necessarily mean you will have a huge baby. Assuming you passed you GD test and your doctor isn't worried, it shouldn't be cause for concern.

Im measuring in at 34weeks and I just turned 32 weeks today! At 29 week scan they said the baby was about 3 pounds 6 ounces in the 75th percentile. They said my baby should be about 9 pounds 6 ounces at birth.
If they measured you by fundal height - it truly means nothing. There are so many factors that come into play with fundal height measurements. Baby's position, the fullness of your bladder/bowels, the position you're laying it, etc.
If they measured by ultrasound, they can be off up to 2 lbs either way... so really not accurate means of measurement either. If you're consistently measuring several weeks ahead, and have tested negative for GD - yes, you may have a larger than average baby. However, you won't know for sure until your baby is here. Try not to stress about it!
I'm measuring ahead by a few centimeters on fundal height, but my doctor doesn't seem concerned. My son was 8 lb 4 oz and doc has already told me that baby girl is going to be bigger than him.
This is exactly what I was measuring at my last appt. Like the others have said, not necessarily a big deal. BUT Ive been having contractions so doc put me on a prescription to slow em down and is keeping an extra eye on me. I have to have an ultrasound at 36 weeks to check on babys size.
This is my 3rd, I'm measuring ahead by almost 3 weeks, but measured ahead with both of my older ones as well. No GD here, just big babies (8, 8 and 8, 14)...It's just to give the Dr. an idea, and to ensure that baby is continuing to grow.

I totally read the baby weights as 8lbs, 8lbs 8oz, and 14lbs and was like WHAT?!? Until I reread and realized my mistake haha!
At my 28 week appt I was measuring 30 weeks and Doctor scheduled an ultrasound and found baby is measuring about 10 days ahead of my due date. Sizes at this point are so varying there's really nothing to worry about unless doctor says so. I didn't even get my due date changed even though it was so far ahead. Everyone is different.
When I was 27wks preg I was measuring 33wks.. 29 wks I was measuring 32 31 wks measuring 33
My dr is still concerned with GD, I passed my 3hr sugar test.. I haven't changed my diet at all... But baby is measuring "on track" now so.. I wouldn't be concerned unless your dr is concerned.. Or talk with your dr about it.. Could just be a bigger baby
