Brown Discharge... 8 weeks...

So I know that there are a bunch of posts on here about this and I'm sorry for reposting, I'm just searching for a little peace of mind. I've contacted my obgyn who wasn't too concerned, and I know that every pregnancy is different, BUT I'm still really terrified of it ending in a mc.

This is my first pregnancy and I started spotting light brown at 7 weeks, this has lasted for a week going anywhere from light to dark from thin to thick, some of the discharge has some very very small clot like material in it. It is only when I wipe though, has shown on a panty liner once. I haven't had any cramps or pains, and my pg symptoms haven't gone away. Acne, frequent urination, sore nipples/breasts, although I never got morning sickness which also freaked me out. Today when I did a little investigating (sorry tmi) there was some red mixed in with it. I know not to be concerned unless it is actual bleeding, filling a pad in less than an hour, cramps etc but try telling that to my first time mom brain that is literally going crazy with different scenarios.

Has anyone experienced these symptoms? Has anyone gone on the have a viable pregnancy? I have my first ob appt this Wednesday so thankfully not too much longer to go. I know we are all different but just looking for some sort of reassurance.

    Sorry you're going through this. I know you want to hear lots of stories where everything turned out fine but you seem to know already that no one else's experience has any bearing on yours. In the same way, just because someone had a bad experience it doesn't mean that that will happen to you. Read the previous threads for reassurance. Above all, listen to your doctor. No one here can tell you anything about what your bleeding means. Hopefully it is nothing and best of luck at your scan.

    I had spotting from the beginning pink and brown. My doc took me in right away since i had a recent MC. So far been good going on 16wks. But i was on bed rest till wk 12 because of the spotting. Turnd out its just a sensitive cervix. At least you see your doc soon. Keep calm and hope all goes well

    I'm also a first time mom and just started my second tri today (14 weeks). I know the first tri is super stressful, especially since you are new to this. I've had no morning sickness either and have continued to feel great into my second tri. The waiting game is tough but hopefully your first scan will help ease some stress! Hope the best for you!

    I know no one can tell me what it means. There are a million and one scenarios and circumstances that could come into play whether it be infection, sensitive cervix etc etc but it is nice to know that there are others going through the same thing that I can draw support from and hear stories that did have positive outcomes so that maybe I can calm myself down a bit until Wednesday. Since I have already spoken to my doctor and I'm not seeking medical advice, I don't think there is any harm in asking for other people's experiences. Hope this doesn't come off as snarky because that is not my intention at all. Thanks for the reply and we'll wishes!
