No. The purpose of RRLT is to help tone the uterus to produce more effective contractions. I would not take the pills or the tea concentration until after 38 weeks. The same is true with EPO (Evening Primrose Oil capsules). The pills/tea can make BH intense and uncomfortable.
I started at 32 weeks with tea. No experience with the pills. There is not a lot of research in this area but doctor told me it would not cause me to go into labor but would assist once it started.
All 4 of my midwives said it's safe to drink any time. (Unless there's a history of preterm labor.) My OB that I used with my last pregnancy said the same thing.
I've always been told the same thing by mine ^ one even said "RRLT is good for anyone with a uterus!" I was drinking it the whole time we TTC and haven't stopped. I've never heard of the pills though
