Hello! I can't believe I am here!

Hello July 2016! My name is Allison and I live in Pittsburgh with my husband and 14-month-old daughter. With DD, we tried for a few years, had losses, were diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve, did IUIs, clomid....and were shocked by a conception without assistance when we were waiting for my cycle to start IVF. We knew after she arrived that we would not go back to an RE, so we made peace with having an only and declined BC just in case lightening wanted to strike again. And I guess lightening wanted to strike again! We were totally caught off guard with a BFP on Monday and my OB confirmed it. Current EDD is July 4, but that is based off of LMP and my cycles have been all over the place because I am still breastfeeding DD. I go for my dating US next Saturday - I could be a week ahead based on some spotting or a week behind based on some CM I got late in my cycle. This is so different than last time when I was at an RE, did betas, knew date of conception, etc. We will do cell free DNA testing again when we get to 10/11 weeks. We are cautiously optimistic, we know it is early and a lot could still happen, but we are pretty amazed that we have gotten this far! H&H 9 months to all!

    Welcome and I'm sorry for your losses and struggles. Very glad that you have your beautiful DD at home. I can relate because this BFP came on a long cycle (temping didn't not confirm O but labs did.) we were also waiting to start an IVF cycle with PGS following multiple losses. The best surprise!

    Headed back home to Colorado 12/12/15
