We are definitely the slackers of this BMC Week/fruit: 18/ sweet potato
Recent/upcoming appointments: Tomorrow is our anatomy scan and next monthly appointment. We also should receive my husband's genetic tests results back to make sure he is not a carrier for Fanconi Anemia (I am).
Rants/raves/symptoms?: I feel like I am always uncomfortably full or hungry. I want the gray area in between back, ladies!
Questions for the group?: What questions have you been asking your doc? The doctor I originally saw at my practice was pretty terrible and didn't make it easy to ask questions, so I didn't. But, I'm switching tomorrow.
GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and tradition for that holiday? Christmas!! My family has a ton of traditions, but I am most looking forward to one we are starting this year. We are making a holiday box for the next generation, which will include fun things to do when we're together, in addition to the same set of PJs. So far only my sis has kids, but we'll be adding at least one cousin next year (and maybe more from my bro).
Recent/upcoming appointments: I have one next Tuesday. They are supposedly doing an ultrasound but it's not the anatomy scan appointment, but I am still thinking they might be able to determine the sex. I'm not sure what the appointment is. My appointment times seem off.
Rants/raves/symptoms?: I am not having that many symptoms. Toothbrushing and taking my vitamin make me feel like I'm going to throw up though.
Questions for the group?: None GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and tradition for that holiday? It's hard to say but I think Halloween. I haven't really done anything too special for Halloween in years but I'm now looking forward to having a kid to do fun Halloween stuff with. I love watching scary movies and carving pumpkins and going to corn mazes....
I haven't asked my doctor that many questions. I don't know what I should be asking.
Recent/upcoming appointments: I was there on Tuesday, listened to the HB (140) upped my BP meds again / upcoming is Nov 30 for my anatomy scan
Rants/raves/symptoms?: Have officially been told Hyperemesis Gravidarum
Questions for the group?: None
GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and tradition for that holiday? Halloween: love decorating and going TOTing and handing out candy - once everyone is home from TOTing we order Pizza Hut, watch old Roseanne Halloween episodes and hand out candy to the rest of the TOTers
And most of us seem to be due at nearly the same time!
Week/fruit: 17/onion
Recent/upcoming appointments: Anatomy scan next Friday (as long as my insurance coverage started November first like it was supposed to, long story...)
Rants/raves/symptoms?: Itchy belly, chapped lips. I need more water!
Questions for the group?: None this week!
GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and tradition for that holiday? Christmas! My family draws names at Thanksgiving, and we each spend $10 and fill a stocking for each other to find on Christmas morning. Then they have to guess who drew their name. Obviously in addition to other normal Christmas gifts, lol.
Recent/upcoming appointments: A/S 11/16, next appointment 11/20. I went to the lab for my AFP test today.
Rants/raves/symptoms?: I'm super moody lately. Also annoyed because I ordered some maternity clothes online and they are missing (UPS lists them as delivered but I never got them). We've never had this problem at our house in the eight years we've lived here and this does not bode well for my online shopping habit.
Questions for the group?: Nope
GTKY: What's your favorite holiday and tradition for that holiday? I love Thanksgiving. I seriously wait for that meal all year. We don't have any big traditions besides getting together but it's always a good time.

Do you think the package was stolen? Kind of funny to think some punk may have stolen a package and opened it to find maternity clothes! I would think the company would send it again or something.
I called LOFT and they'll launch an investigation. They also let me reorder everything at the 50% off price that I paid but as I suspected, they were out of my size for one of my pairs of pants. There's a chance they may not refund my original purchase which sucks. The maternity pants were probably pretty lame to steal but I had also ordered a cute non-maternity poncho.
We really are he slackers of these updates! I'm a total contributor to the delinquency!
Here goes:
Week/fruit: 15/orange
Recent/upcoming appointments: next appointment is next Friday and I can't wait to hear the heartbeat again! If everything is ok we will let our parents spread the news to other family which they've been dying to do!
Rants/raves/symptoms: hmmm I probably have a lot but I'm sleepy. Although @cosmobella I also had an annoying experience with Loft. I ordered a bunch of maternity stuff and it took over two weeks to arrive. When it did the box was so beat up and the tape job looked like something a 3 year old would do. The clothes were also meh... I wasn't thrilled. Pretty annoying bc they weren't cheap! Going to try to return some of them in the store.
Questions for the group: was thinking of starting a new discussion on this and still might, but any second time moms have tips for us newbies on things we can do to "prep" our boobs for breastfeeding? I keep hearing all the horrible things that will happen like cracking and bleeding etc. Is there anything that can be done preemptively to mitigate these things??
GTKY: I love thanksgiving too. But my favorite traditions related to Christmas! Opening one present (usually pajamas) on Christmas Eve, watching A Christmas Story all day, and opening Christmas crackers at dinner!

What country are you from? I became interested in Christmas crackers and they aren't common in the US. I was wondering if the ones in the UK are way better than what limited crackers they have here.
@RoseShadow873 I've lived in the US my whole life. My parents are Canadian and it was a tradition they grew up with that they continued to do with me here. The crackers in the US are getting better, but the ones we used to have when we'd go to Canada for Christmas were always the best
