20 wk ultrasound - fluid in one kidney

Hi, we just had our 20 week ultrasound and the tech said everything was normal but there was a little fluid in her kidney but that it's normal. Has anyone had this?

It was only the tech that said this not the radiologist. But I was like ok what does that mean and she said don't worry. Wtf? I called my doctor and she said they'll wait for the final report but that it may just mean that the baby had to pee and most times it clears up on its own. Worst case they'll do another ultrasound to monitor.

    Thank you so much for your reply and kind words. That does put my mind at ease. I had thought the techs couldn't give their opinion as well. I wish she hadn't because it made us worry. My doctor should receive the report within the next day or two. You and your family are in my thoughts and I hope that all is ok.

    I've Btdt with 3 of my boys... 4 weeks later it was gone. Try not to stress....
