Anyone experience this during their pregnancy? It started for me about 2 weeks ago and happens every night around 8pm. It drives me CRAZY! I was just wondering if this was a normal pregnancy symptom.
Yes! I sit at my computer all day and it hits me everyday around 3:00 or so. I try to get up and walk around every hour or so but it doesn't seem to help. It drives me crazy! Normal pregnancy symptom according to Dr. google and my OB.
I have the same thing! My hips ache after sitting at a desk all day and around 7/8 pm I get restless leg like crazy. Doc says its normal also, but still just weird.
I have had the same issue behind my knees get really restless and my lower back and hip hurt bad. I stand all day at work so by time I get home it's worse. I found having my boyfriend rub behind my knees help alot. Also warm baths
Oh girl! I had RLS before baby and now it's just a million times worse! Warm bath.....or peppermint essential oil massaged into your legs with a little lotion or coconut oil or whatever you want to help rub it around with. Sigh. It's the worst......I take at least one bath a day......I usually try and incorporate Epsom salts too (you can find some that have glorious smells too at target), the magnesium helps everything feel so much better.
I have had this for weeks now and it was driving me crazy before pregnancy I used to do a lot of weight training an iv recently started doing it again with a lot lighter weights and iv found this to have helped me a lot its no longer keep in me awake at nights and I'm not bothered by it so much anymore!
You're likely suffering from a magnesium deficiency. There's a brand called Calm. Buy it. Mix it up. Drink it. However the package recommends that you take it, do that. It is amazing how much this helps with restless legs. I had this with my pregnancies, but at the time I didn't realize what would help me. Now, I get it sometimes, and it's usually an indicaton that I need more mag. Also, it helps you get better sleep. I'm not sure exactly how this works, but a quick Google search will tell you. Good luck!
