I go and look every day! It's nice to read other people's birth stories as a FTM! I still have 7.5 weeks! I'm really hoping they go by fast!

5 more weeks for me

a local radio station started playing Christmas music and I admit I listened to it in the car. Makes me that much more excited to have my little man born during the best time of the year.

I am going crazy with excitement! Tomorrow marks the 30 day count done until my c section! I'm feeling a little bit ashamed that I have also gotten into the Christmas spirit a little early. Haha

I haven't been super active on the board lately, work is crazy and most of the time I am too tired to do anything when I get home. It sure has made the time fly by- I can't believe we are all SO close! T minus 6 weeks

There is no shame. I am almost done Christmas shopping and in a couple weeks we are putting up our tree since we're doing artificial this year. Half in case he is born early, half because we just want to have it up longer than usual

I know we have the "Birth Announcements" tab at the top but I sincerely hope once we get into the regular window of when births should be happening that people are allowed (and not flamed for it) to post their own updates for people to actually comment on. I feel like that's what we've all been working up to and personally I feel like those that are having to post their announcements in a single thread all the way at the top with only lovetit responses are getting the short end of the deal

I guess I should have put that as my UO yesterday

@VesperLove I agree. Birth only happens once, I don't see any harm in having individual threads for announcements so people can be congratulated. The thread would die in a couple of days anyway. We've all anticipated the birth of our babies from the day we found out we were expecting, so I feel this should be an exception to the usual centralized thread rule.

I can hardly believe how many babies were born almost 2 weeks early, at almost 35 weeks it still seems so far away so it was crazy to see how many delivered at 37 and 38 weeks!
