    Week/Fruit: 11/lime

    Upcoming Appointments: 11/13 - because I have a tilted ute, the baby was too far back to hear the heartbeat so we are trying again next Friday. 

    Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Symptoms are starting to subside a little bit but I'm still having headaches/migraines, fatigue (afternoon/evening), some food aversions but not as bad. I'm starting to have trouble getting comfortable at night. I bought a snoogle but I don't think it's going to be super helpful until I have a bump. I'm just excited for the next two weeks to fly by so I can be in the 2nd Trimester! We told our parents and siblings last week and they are over the moon excited!

    Questions for the group: Any tips/tricks for getting comfortable at night that don't include a pregnancy pillow?

    GTKY: How did you meet your s/o? We worked together for about a year in college and kept in touch after that. He's my favorite person in the entire world. I'm a lucky gal.

    Upcoming Appointments: Not until the week of Thanksgiving

    Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I'm on the lookout for symptoms of mono since DH has it. Mono and 1st tri have a lot in common...I need to stop bein a hypochondriac.

    Questions for the group: none today

    GTKY: How did you meet your s/o? We worked at a summer camp together! He was in another relationship at the time and I was just doing my own thing. When camp ended we realized we missed each other and about a month later were together :)

    Week/Fruit: 15/Navel Orange

    Upcoming Appointments: 11/24 with my OB for blood work, 11/14 elective ultrasound 

    Rants/Raves/Symptoms: Doing really well over all, same old headaches, exhaustion, and constipation.

    Questions for the group: None from me. @lionstigersbears Great question. I honestly have no idea how I ever fall asleep. I constantly roll from side to side until the next thing I know I'm either in the midst of a crazy dream or waking up to pee.

    GTKY: How did you meet your s/o? I'm always bragging about my husband... he is a comedy writer, who also teaches and performs at one of the premier comedy theaters in the city. When I first moved to NYC I signed up for an improv comedy class to meet people and he was my teacher. We didn't go on our first date until a couple months after the class was over and we've been inseparable ever since.

    Week/Fruit:  13 weeks! According to how my doctor counts it- I'm now in the 2nd Trimester! YAY! Peach. Hmmm peaches. 

    Upcoming Appointments: Just had one yesterday- heard the heartbeat again- next isn't until December 3rd when we'll do another heartbeat scan. 

    Rants/Raves/Symptoms: I'm hungry ALL THE TIME. But the tiredness is fading. I still have trouble focusing at work.

    Questions for the group: I think I'm good. 

    GTKY: How did you meet your s/o? We met on Myspace. He was looking for someone he went to High school with who had moved to VA but he couldn't remember her married name. He sent me a message- he obviously actually read my profile and wasn't just like "hey you're hot, let's hook up" so we started talking- then 2 weeks later he was having dinner with my parents lol :-)

    Week/Fruit: 14 weeks / Lemon or Beet 

    Upcoming Appointments: Nov. 25th - I will get to meet my OB for the first time.

    Rants/Raves/Symptoms: My morning sickness has slowly gotten better but I'm still tired. I always feel so hungry but when I actually eat, it's not a lot. 

    Questions for the group: When did you get your flu shot? I figured I wait till I was in the second trimester & get my flu shot tomorrow.

    GTKY: How did you meet your s/o? At a car show and through mutual friends. We ran into each other again at a house party where I finally had the courage to get his number. I was so SMOOTH about it too. LOL. We laugh about it to this day since I was the one who made the first move.

    GTKY: How did you meet your s/o? We met online, on the oh so classy pof.com. We were totally honest with friends and immediate family about how we met, yet then at our wedding our Pastor told all of our guests that we met on pof.com. He was the best ever and made our ceremony amazing, but I was absolutely mortified!

    @nsouplynn I got my flu shot at 8 weeks the day after my first appointment because my OB said to get it ASAP.

    @ncm0328 that had me laughing!!! How does he know about POF hmmm?

    W/F: 14 lemon

    UA: in two weeks for the 16 wk check.

    RRS: starting to feel hungry and the food aversion is fading. Nausea is sneaky and pops up when I brush my teeth or have one bite too many.

    GTKY: Husband and I met at a BBQ for his folks. His niece and I were best friends and she had invited me over. Once I was on my way home I texted her that her Uncle is hot and that set things in motion. It's not creepy; He's the youngest of a large family and is 8 years older than me.

    @LemmyRN well...when we first sat down to meet he asked us these questions to get to know us. He asked how we met (told him pof obviously) and asked for like our favorite foods/desserts. Well, DH and I thought he was asking these things just to make small talk...low and behold, he incorporated all of those things into our ceremony!! "Nina promises to make Randy 7 layer dream cake for as long as they both shall live" was one I specifically recall. I was so red in all of those pictures but it was hysterical and everybody loved it saying usually they're sleeping through ceremonies lol.


    Btw, the "your uncle is hot" text is so funny. I love it! Good for you for goin' after that hot piece of uncle!

    He sounds like one highly entertaining Pastor! At least your vows were unique and original ... Ours were kinda basic wham bam hitched.

    He is great! We are still in touch with him haha! Ironically it was a 15 minute ceremony. Added bonus info and all! I like the basic wham bam hitch route too, at least everybody didn't find out about your hot uncle text in the wedding environment. Whoops, sorry great aunts and cousins! Had to explain to all of them just what pof.com was and how I determined my DH wasn't a sociopath.
