Cervix

Did anyone take note on how thier cervix was when they got their BFP.
I am due today and no sign of AF yet. Although she isnt welcome.

My cervix is very soft and TMI getting alot of CM.
Having food adversions and tiredness along with 4 days of slighy cramping.

Hoping to get BFP soon...

Eta: I believe TTC would be a more appropriate board, until you do get a BFP, and then Welcome!

On the TTGP board they aren't allowed to post questions about whether they may be pregnant, so I get why she's here.

@nat89w1 That being said I didn't check mine. Is there a first tri board? You may want to try there.

They aren't allowed to on any board. As well as they are not supposed to post on a bmb until they do get a BFP.

The reason why those questions are not allowed because it is a lot easier to just POAS to see if you are pregnant or not rather than asking a bunch of strangers if you are pregnant or not!

I don't remember mine being soft, but I do remember it stayed high. I hope that helps a little. Cervix's are tricky buggers, just be patient and I know how hard that is but you're body will let you know. I avidly checked mine, and the bugger never did what it said it was supposed to. The only thing that didn't change was the height, but even then it can take some woman a little longer for it to rise.

Op, just take a test. That will tell you for sure.

Might be too soon for her yet. I didn't get a dark line until a few days after, she might get a really really faint line though.

A line is a line no matter how dark it is. Get a digital test then. Or she just could have O'd later then she normally does because our bodies are not robots and they do their own thing whenever they want. Test again in a day or two. And if you get your period head over to the TTGP board and you will learn a lot from the ladies there.

@thebigoaktree - yes, it may be too soon, but a group of internet strangers can't determine if she's pregnant either. Nothing she can do except poas until she gets either a positive or AF shows up.

I checked mine because I was curious and I'd been checking all along. Mine was/is Medium Medium. It's not really super hard or super soft and it's not really high or low. I also didnt have a ton of CM but it wasnt a desert.

If you think you MIGHT be pregnant then I would assume that you are until you know you aren't. I know it's opposite of how most people think on here. What I mean by it is to do all the good things a pregnant woman would do. Start taking your vitamins, Stop drinking, avoid certain fish and raw eggs. Generally take care of your self.

I didnt read it as if OP was asking us if SHE is pregnant but what our Cervix's are like and she can compare and make her own judgement and to help with her TTW. The TTGP group would ROAST her. This would not be welcome.

Good luck OP!!! The TTW is nothing compared to the wait before your first Dr appt!!!

Here's through thing though, I get wanting to scrutinize every sign your body may give for an early indication you may be pregnant. However (a big however), is that symptom spotting (in this case a veiled way to ask if OP may be pregnant) can really mess with your emotions, and any signs/symptoms (cervix, CM, sore boobs, etc) cannot be attributed to pregnancy unless you have a positive test. This is why it isn't encouraged--false hope does no one any good.

OP, my cervix and CM showed somewhat fertile signs prior to my BFP, but that doesn't mean anything for your body. In the six months I charted my cycles prior to my one and only BFP, sometimes I had more CM in the TWW, but it turned out to be nothing.

The best and only thing you can do is test until you get AF or BFP. If neither occurs in 60 days, call your doctor. Good luck.

Maybe this is just me--and I do know many women have far longer journeys to concieve--PP, the 6 months of TWW was far worse than waiting for my first doctor's visit. Symptom spotting would only make it tougher.

Everyones body is different, everyones cervix is going to do different things. As advice, I wouldn't trust your cervix for pregnancy, she's wonky half the time, and don't google it either because then you're going to be just sticking your finger up there all the time. I hope you get your postive though.

My cervix when pregnant is always high. It generally comes down a day or 2 before your period. But the only way to know is take a test. I have taken so many over the years and if I wasn't pregnant I would start right when I took one. But this time I got my bfp 3 days before my period was supposed to come. So good luck.
