The reason we are waiting on the u/s until next week is that you can't generally see anything until the levels are at least 1000 (on older machines, you need levels over 2000). Additionally, most ectopic pregnancies never show up on u/s. The diagnosis is made when the levels are abnormal and nothing is on u/s in the uterus.

Given where they are, the mw thinks and I agree, that Tuesday isn't too late, provided I continue to monitor for changes in bleeding and pain. More b/w can tell us a lot, so I don't mind waiting. It is virtually certain that I won't see anything on u/s if I go today, so we'd just have to repeat next week anyway.
