I'm beginning the hunt for maternity jeans and I was wondering if anyone has suggestions of brands that are comfy? I'm dying in my normal jeans with a bellyband. Hoping switching to maternity jeans will help!
I love Gap jeans. The denim is really good quality and the fit is always great. I have one pair of maternity that I really like- they are a bit big but I ordered up a size since I am normally between a 4 and a 6 so I would have room to grow.
I found a pair at old navy that are super comfortable and then two more than I absolutely love at the maternity store at the mall here. I will have to go check the exact brand but they almost look like "miss me" jeans and are so comfy!!
I'm having a hard time finding jeans and even work pants. I'm a size 0 and petite. I found an xs pair of petite pants in motherhood maternity but those are big as well.
Anyone have any advice? My jeans are too snug and my belly is starting to show.

Get the smallest pair you can find and take them to a tailor/seamstress!
@yogahh Oh my, they are comfortable. But after having the baby and still being in maternity jeans a while postpartum...it feels SO good to put on a good ol' pair of jeans with a zipper again!
Just ordered these from JCrew. I wore the regular version of these jeans pre-pregnancy and loved them. I have heard good things about jeans with side panels and these were only 29.99 because they were on sale and I used a 50% off coupon code (originally $135)!

I had this issue with my first. Some maternity brands only go down to a size 26. Ingrid and Isabel makes great work pants in small sizes (size 0). Citizens of Humanity goes down to a size 24 and they fit great. I also got some James Jeans in a 25 that fit well. Both brands had slim legs (and hips) which was important for me. They fit from 16-42 weeks!!! Tailor for length. Look on Gilt---use the search feature and type "maternity jeans" or "Ingrid and Isabel" as it may not come up on one of the home pages.
Also, for work, I wore A LOT of dresses with tights and boots.

Yes! Bought these for the same deal, and was super stoked because they had my tall size. Hope they're as great as the other jcrew pants I live in 24/7.
I got a pair of bootcut from h&m with a half panel and they are incredible. They fit and feel just like actual jeans. My biggest issue when I was pregnant before was the jeans would stretch out over the day because they were made from weird materials. These were only 39.99 and I want to go back for more. I agree with the Jessica Simpson recommendations too!
And to report back, got my jcrew jeans in the mail tonight and they are amazing! I'm 12 weeks and not even showing, but bloating so bad that having a stretchy front feels so good! And it's hilarious how much room I have to grow - totally unnecessary at the moment, but comfortable anyway!
Pea in a Pod had a grand reopening across the street from me! They gave me a gift card to use that day and a free bottle of Basq NYC citrus body oil.
I was worried they wouldn't have my sizes but oh my. I left there with AG jeans and black 7 for all mankind jeans fitting me beautifully. Like regular jeans but so much more comfortable and with the perfect amount of stretch. I also got myself some leggings/footless tights that help with compression and three tops. I walked out of there wearing some of the clothing. Feeling a bit special. ^-^
It was definitely considered a splurge. I don't think I will be buying bottoms for another 6-7 months though.
I also got some jeans from Motherhood Maternity. They sell jeans in lengths!!!!!!!!! I am just under 6' and their longs fit me nicely. Buy one pair get one 50% off.
I bought in store and for $2.99 they gave me a crazy goodie bag full of coupons/gift cards and magazine subscriptions (I have yet to seriously dig through it). You also get a Buy Buy Baby coupon on your receipt
My favorite jeans during my last pregnancy (and this one) are from the Loft. They have the best full belly bands in my opinion!! If you sign up for their e-mails and keep checking the website, you can usually get their jeans at 40% off because the deals come up every week or two.
I haven't been on this site in awhile, and just noticed all the responses! Thanks so much for all the ideas ladies! I ended up at the Motherhood Maternity store and bought a couple pairs of jeans there. SOOOO much more comfortable now!
