Around 5 weeks, spotting?? Please help

I recently went to the doctor and she was concerned that the baby isn't growing as fast as he/she should be, today I went to the bathroom and wiped and there was Brown discharge and a tiny clot of blood. Is this normal please help!

    brown spotting is usually pretty typical.
    honestly tho i would be calling your OB right away, especially if there have been concerns before this.

    I had spotting early pregnancy (6 weeks) after my DH and I had sex. I had an extreme panic attack. But doctor brought me in and everything was fine. Doctor said that spotting is normal. Body is producing a lot more blood and also the cervix is a lot more sensitive. He said that as long as it remained brown that I was fine. It has happened once more a week or two later but I haven't had any spotting since. 

    I would listen to your doctor's advise and what she says.

    I'm sorry you're going through this. Brown spotting happens often in healthy pregnancies, but I would call your doctor since she had previously expressed concerns. I hope all is well.
