I was just thinking of this today... curious to see what others have in mind. Someone had posted on another board a beautiful journal but it was very costly... I'm thinking of maybe handwritten letters once a week with a picture?
$90?!?!? Jeez. I'll make you one for $80... :P It sounds like a neat idea, though I'd rather save money for a little baby moon and journal in a regular notebook.
I have been doing a journal since Feb just a single sentence recap of the day that includes new things DD does (new tooth, walking etc). Only a small recap so it doesn't feel like a chore. It also details our journey of ttgp and finally finding out. It's already cool to look back on days from only months ago to see what we did! Hope I can keep it up for years!
@born2run911 that's a great idea! I've thought about journaling, but then I felt like I didn't have anything profound to say. I could just write a sentence though! In sure I could do that!
I've been thinking about keeping a dedicated journal with thoughts/feelings/changes. I'm sure once the baby is actually here all of this will seem like a distant memory, so I'm hoping that writing it down someplace other than the Ovia app will be a sweet way to hold on to it.
So I think I'm going to take the lazy route and buy a pregnancy journal from Target this weekend. I may even start taking photos, yes I know I will not be showing for awhile, so I can compare them week by week and put them in the journal as well. I want to be able to look back at this time in life and relive everything!

I've brought one of Amazon that is so lovely. It's called bump to birthday and it starts from 10 weeks pregnant but has a lot to add before. I wish my mum had done one for me as that would be so useful now x
I've been considering getting a pregnancy journal. Like others have said, it seems like a sweet way to have a keepsake of all the hopes and dreams, fears and worries, exciting moments, etc from pregnancy.
I've seen some other cute ideas also. I read somewhere about a dad that had set up an e-mail account for baby and every week or whatever he would write an e-mail to baby. He did it until baby was fairly old. 10 or something maybe? And eventually he gave the e-mail account to his child with years worth of sweet e-mails.
ETA: As far as journals go I was looking into something like this maybe.

I do it. Keep it on my bedside table. Just write notes to "baby Predator" when I'm feeling overly loving & sweet. Maybe 4-5 notes since my BFP. Sometimes I write about my hubs id I am liking him that day. Once I wrote about my pugs waiting to meet their sibling. My last entry was about my Grandad in heaven when I was having an absolute breakdown & threw myself into bed. Do what makes you feel good but I like the idea of looking back on this time. Even though I'm really crazy right now lol.
I am intent on being frugal, but I love this idea now that you guys brought it up. Just started a private tumblr blog where I can dump thoughts, images, and random things from around the internet into a digital pregnancy journal. It's on lockdown now, but when I hit 12 weeks I might unlock and share the link since so much of my family is out of state. It'll help with Facebook spam too. Want to hear about my pregnancy? Here's a link! Otherwise normal Facebook activities such as cat videos and pictures of our travels shall commence. Great thread- thanks for the idea!

@noelietrex! I'm so frugal too! I love it, because I think most people would read your quote and be like, "Really? You think a journal is too costly??" But I totally understand! I'm planning to retire before this little munchkin in my belly goes to college, so I get it, all those little costs add up! Frugal for the win!
Re: Pregnancy journal?
I also kept a weekly note in my iPhone.
