Here's a terrible one for this board: I've never seen a newborn that I thought was cute. When people make comments like, "so cute!" I can't figure out if they're just trying to make the mom feel better, or if they really mean it!

Hahaha. I laughed so loud at this one. I think my kids were cute when they were born, but I'm biased but normally I agree. My friend just had a baby and it's the ugliest thing I've ever seen. X_X

I thought my newborn was the cutest thing in the world at the time. But now when I look back at pictures I laugh how she really looked like chubby alien!
My UO for Thanksgiving season is that I don't like pumpkin pie. It's all weird and squishy. I like almost every other pumpkin concoction, but not the pie.

I also am not a fan of pumpkin pie... or basically anything pumpkin.

Haha we called our daughter our little alien baby for the first weeks
Baby on board stickers are stupid. I doubt the person behind you will drive more carefully after seeing your baby on board sticker. If they were going to rear end you, its not going to change that.

So I thought the same thing but then I heard they're supposed to signal to an emergency responder that there could be a child in the car or a child could have been ejected from the vehicle subsequent to a crash. I agree that no one is going to drive more carefully if you have a sticker.

Having known a lot of first responders, its their job to assume that anyway. It's what they do and what they're good at. But I guess maybe it could help?

If the baby is not cute I cannot tell a lie. I will just say that the baby is precious or adorable or something like that.

Same here! I think most newborns look like aliens and some of them stay ugly forever... When someone is showing me pictures and expecting a response I usually just make comments about how small they are. "Oh my gosh look at those tiny little hands!" "Look at his tiny smile!" "What a big personality for such a tiny lady!" etc etc. I've actually had to remove a couple people from showing on my Facebook newsfeed because my troll impulse gets out of control sometimes and I just want to comment on how ugly their potato head baby is and how I can't believe it still looks like a little old person/ alien/ crazy-eyed primate. I'm relatively certain we will be having the ugliest baby ever because of my terrible terrible karma in this department- sorry seamonkey!
My UO (and apologies as I know some of you on here are into it) is that I cannot stand cross fit, I think it's brainwashed everyone into thinking everyone else on social media/ in your life cares about your WOD. Sorry, I'm all about health & fitness (I work for one of the largest fitness clubs in the country!) but cross fit to me is dumb. #endrant

Yes, this ^ I agree completely (sorry cross fitters) I don't have much room to talk though, because I'm constantly talking about and posting on my fb about how much I love zumba, and how people should try it! I also teach the class though, so it's kind of advertisement lol. I do know that zumba is totally not everyone's cup of tea though, just like cross fit is not mine!

Haha this made me laugh. My sister loves crossfit and I went with her and actually fell in love with it too. I can't afford it and now her doc is telling her to stop because it's not good for her body. I think of crossfit as a community. They are really one big family.

Yeah, I usually go with "congratulations!" but your technique about them being little sounds like a good one. I'm worried that I'll have the ugliest baby in the world but be totally oblivious to it! I have one friend who has had 3 of the most attractive babies I've ever seen, and still as newborns they weren't really cute.

If anything, I've noticed people that have these stickers are horrendously shitty drivers themselves.

I think dessert is a waste of belly space. I'd much rather have more savory and less sweet.
