How are you feeling? Blah. Just felt "off" this morning. Not really sick or nauseous, but just didn't feel good. Also woke up with a headache. Thankfully today is the "gateway to the weekend"...one more day.
Rants/Raves? Stupid drivers. This mornings commute was more frustrating than usual. Either that or I'm just cranky today.
GTKY: If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? Paid maternity leave in the US. Maybe then we'd be on the same page as every other country in the world.

Puked after getting out of bed but after that, I don't feel half bad (yet) and was able to keep down toast and an egg.

I've convinced myself the people who claim morning sickness means you have a healthy baby are the same people who claim rain on your wedding day is good luck. It's just to make people feel better, nothing more. I've been on a kind of pessimistic streak the past few days which may have something to do with this.

Madatory science literacy programs. So much of the woo going around today is because people don't understand basic science and how their bodies work.
How are you feeling? Better overall since I've been making a point to go to bed early the past few nights. Started a little off this morning since I woke up from a nightmare but I hope I'll forget about it soon!
Rants/Raves? Can I say everything? I'm cranky as shit. Something spilled in our fridge and DH and I emptied the fridge to clean it last night, except that when I was on the floor spraying and wiping every part of the shelves and drawers DH was standing there watching me. WTF?! Do another task so I don't have to do it all, don't just watch me! I know he was just distracted and thinking about work stuff, but come on! I had to keep asking him to do specific tasks. Not a big deal unless you're tired and cranky like me!
GTKY: If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? I like the 4-day week and 3-day weekend idea, but I wouldn't mind 5 days of work if they were say, 6-hour work days! Then everyone could sleep in and in the winter you could still leave and come home when the sun is up!
How are you feeling? Tired, sore nips, congested. Had a sore throat that started Tues and stayed home Wed, but not as bad today. Wondering if I might have an ear infection again.
Rants/Raves? Happy to be at 7 weeks today but 1st tri is going so slowly! Also, wish it was the weekend already. Just got to work and ready to go home!

How are you feeling? Pretty good actually, considering I've been sick. Had some RLP in the middle of the night when I had some cough attacks. Ohhhh man did that hurt.
Rants/Raves? Poor DH. We have the same sore throat. Somehow, though, I seem to be recovering quicker than he is. Mine was really bad Tuesday night, and his was really bad last night. He has a very deep cough (the ones that sound painful from your soul), and his throat is killing him. I had to sleep in the spare room just so I could get some sleep last night.
GTKY: If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? This is a cool question, lol. Hmm... It really annoys me how everybody gets offended over everything. I think my first law would be, "If it offends you, don't look/participate/etc!"

How are you feeling? Good so far today, but my scrambled eggs are threatening to creep back up. Tired, but mostly because of the weather around here since I haven't seen the sun in days.

Hmm, I like the science literacy, modified work weeks, and paid maternity leave. So many issues to choose from between guns, healthcare, education, financial regulation, immigration, etc....where to start? I guess I'd say better education across the board or raising the minimum wage.
How are you feeling? My symptoms went away today. Even my nips feel less sore. It is making me so anxious actually. I am sick (sinus and chest cold). So i am hoping that bc i am so miserable with my cold that its trumping my pregancy symptoms. Someone reassure me its ok. Being a loss momma i am reading too much into it i know!

How are you feeling? Ugh... Exhausted and Nauseous. At least today is my Friday.
Rants/Raves? This time change has my toddler so messed up! She is getting up at 5:30 am when it used to be 6:30! It is killing that extra hour of sleep for me.
GTKY: If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? hmm... This is a hard one. I think emergency workers are not paid enough for what they do. These people put their lives on the line for others and some places they barley make enough to put food on a table. If you ask any emergency workers they usually have at least 1 if not more other jobs on top of their emergency position. I grew up with my dad as a firefighter and he always was a firefighter and had 2 other jobs as well simply because the pay was very minimal.
How are you feeling today? Actually pretty good... In need of my first coffee though!
Rants/Raves: Was feeling pretty sick the last few days but today is better so far... Clementines are really helping with nausea though!
GTKY: What a tough question! I definitely agree with better maternity leave and since I haven't had coffee yet my brain can't come under with anything better

How are you feeling? The emotional roller coaster has hit! I think I've broken into tears four times already and it's only 8:45 am!! I'm also feeling nauseous and crampy. Just very blah today!
Rants/Raves? I just really don't want to be at work today. I want to be at home in bed!

How are you feeling? I've had a bit of a break from my nausea the past several days to the point I have been able to eat normal food! The queasiness is starting to creep back again so it looks like I'll be back to my bland diet before too long. I had my first emotional outburst last night with DH. He was goofing around with me (like he often does) just before bed. He picked me up over his shoulder and with my bloating it was so uncomfortable. When he put me down I burst into tears! DH felt so bad but once I calmed down we both laughed about it.
Rants/Raves? Today is my first appointment with my midwife!
GTKY: If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? There are some seriously good laws already! I think I'd institute mandatory minimums for leaves - maternity/paternity laws, sick leave, vacation.
How are you feeling? I feel good! My stomach bug finally passed. Now I am trying to catch up on fluids. My breasts stopped hurting completely today, but I still have mild cramping so I am not going to worry about it too much
Rants/Raves? Rant....I hate that I have to wait another 5 weeks for my first appointment. I am so jealous of everyone who has already been AND had an US.

How are you feeling? So sick...well, not right at this moment. I actually vomited 3 times yesterday and more dry heaving. Apparently, I can vomit while driving...who knew such a talent existed? I also think I caught a cold, so coughing up stuff, too. Felt dehydrated last night and ha a bit of a panic attack. Ya, good times.
Rants/Raves? Loved seeing the baby and hearing the heartbeat for the first time yesterday! Also, feeling like a horrible mom for doing this, but paying a babysitter for a few hours to just watch DS so I can rest and do random things at home.

My first actual appointment with my OB isn't until November 16th, so only 11 more days! I will be just about 11w by then, so I can understand the anxiousness. I'm hoping we'll be able to get an US/hear the heartbeat at this one.

Nauseous and tired! Though I've only gotten sick in the evenings. My breasts are still pretty tender but I think I'm just getting used to it. @jaceyannie you and me both with the waterworks haha I cry at anything these days! Does anyone else get nervous when they get stomach cramps? This is my first baby and I feel so nervous I might do something wrong !
Rants/Raves? I've been loving how shakeology gets me my nutrients tastes good and seems to help settle my upset stomach!

Work has me completely drained and I'm trying not to turn into a 3 headed dragon and bite people's heads off because nobody knows I'm pregnant yet... And I need my benefits lol. And I'm especially weepy today. Also I really want to take some time off to regroup but I know it's only gonna get worse and I'm trying to save all of my vacation time to cash out during my maternity leave. And I'm stressed because my job has Aflak (spelling?) But I can't sign up until November and I think I won't be able to use the maternity leave benefits depending on when I give birth (I will squeeze these knees together if I have to) I actually feel better after that rant though. Lol.

The HG is really kicking my butt. I called my midwife a few days ago. She asked about how much I'm drinking and eating but she oddly also asked if I feel like I'm showing yet. She knows I was only 9 weeks. I said there's no way, it must be just bloat (in the back of my mind I'm thinking "I might be because when I wake up first thing my tummy is no longer flat and there is a tiny bump down low"). She said she wanted me to get bloodwork done sooner than originally planned and she told me she suspects twins but can't say for sure unless a get a scan. I said I'd rather hold off until my next scheduled appt cause if there really are two in there it's not gonna change my symptoms so I'd rather not waste their time. Chances of twins for us are as low as they can get and in sure there's only one. It does make me think though..,

How are you feeling? Better than some previous days. Was only slightly nauseous this morning, the rest of the day I have been starving. It's the weirdest thing, I haven't wanted anything to do with food and today my stomach is constantly growling! I'm super anxious because our first appointment is tomorrow and I'm praying everything is going well!
Rants/Raves? Just nervous about our appointment tomorrow, it's basically all I can think about.

How are you feeling?
Today is one of the better days I've had in a long time! Feelin fat and emotional though. I'm just super used to being in the gym and monitoring my intake being a power lifter so I'm struggling with the lack of control and the changes I'm seeing.

DH said he missed when I used to actually laugh with him, that made me sad. Hormones are running a muck, I guess. Wish I knew how to calm down and not take everything so personally!

How are you feeling? At this moment, I feel so bloated, a little constipated (literally NEVER happens to me!), and irritable! We have 3 dogs and they're driving me crazy right now.
Rants/Raves? Just irritated over small stuff! And tired. I'm off work tomorrow so I can't wait to catch up on sleep. I've also been so absentminded!! I left dinner on the stove and forgot the burner was on low
