Congratulations! FTM here too! So excited to have this forum as we aren't telling anyone until Thanksgiving and it's killing me!! No prior experience obviously, but I've been trying to do lots of small meals every 3 hours or so to stave off nausea and not get too hungry (though nausea hasn't yet set in for me). There is another discussion going for good eats for mamas and babies I've been reading.
Hi and welcome! I'm also a FTM, but second the Ovia suggestion. It's free and sends you daily updates like "today baby is developing arm buds" and "today baby has the beginning of a liver". It's pretty sweet and reassuring for those of us with pregnancy paranoia who keep thinking "What if nothing is growing in there?!" Just knowing what's probably going on has been soothing for me. Good luck and h&h 9 months to you!
Congrats and welcome! During my first pregnancy my OB provided a list of medications to stay away from, ones that were ok and certain foods to also stay away from. H&H 9 months!
Re: first time mom here
The Ovia app is great! I think a lot ladies here are using it. It has a pretty comprehensive list of foods that are safe/unsafe with explanations.
