We had our anatomy sonogram yesterday and the technician kept saying, "I'm pretty sure it's a girl." Baby's legs were crossed and she couldn't see any bits so I think she assumed girl just to be done. At no point did she sound sure. I went and bought the Walgreen's gender prediction test just to see....I know it's unreliable....but I was curious and it came out boy. I'm just not confident in my gender answer yet. Anyone have experience with this happening?

    With what happening? Using a gender prediction test? Those things are bogus. Or with baby having their legs crossed? It happens a lot, baby isn't really aware that you want to see between its legs. I don't really know what kind of answer you're looking for....
    The good news is that giving birth is a sure way to find out if baby is male or female!

    Well I'm sure you know that the purpose of the anatomy scan is to make sure your baby is healthy. Finding out the sex, if possible, is just an added bonus. So it wasn't that your tech just wanted to be done.

    If you really want to know, pay for an elective scan.
