Still in "shock" ..

It's been about a week since my BFP and I'm still kind of in "shock" or idk what that I'm pregnant. Like I almost want to go get another test just to make sure. This is my first pregnancy too and on top of it all I have to wait till mid December for my first doctors appointment!

I think that's normal! I'm 6 weeks 5 days and it doesn't feel real... I'm thinking that it will once we have our first Dr's appointment next Friday at 8 weeks... time is crawling until then!

I'm only 4 weeks 5 days and have about a month and a week until i see the doctor. Its soo far away and times dragging!

The wait for the first appointment feels like forever! I think it's totally normal for it to feel that way.

I feel the same way and this is my fourth time(hopefully 3rd baby) I think some of the shock will go away when I see my doc and have an ultrasound. It also starts getting real when you start showing and feeling the baby.

Yep. I feel ya. I actually did go in for another blood test today. The nurse laughed at me (in a sweet and endearing way). Made me feel better though. Hang in there!!!

I feel the same way, also our first baby! My first appointment isn't until early December! I feel like I need to keep taking tests to make it real!

Second pregnancy, utter shock still. I've been monitored closely, so though my situation is higher risk than I'd like, it's a perk going in for early appointments.

I am in shock too. I got a very faint BFP yesterday, and it wasn't much darker today. I bought the Clearblue digital and hoping that gives me some more confirmation. I am going to call my OB on Monday and see what they suggest. Today I am 12dpo and expected AF would be next Thursday.

I'm so nervous that we're going to NYC next weekend with two friends and I feel like it's too early to tell them, but they know we are TTC, so I think it will be obvious that I'm not drinking. I might just say I'm on antibiotics.

I am so happy to read this, because I feel the same! I got 2 BFP's yesterday {squeal!!} and it is all very surreal. My first appointment isn't until December 18th. Seems soooo far away.

@LDSJM123 my first appointment is dec 7 with an OB nurse and then I have to wait another 8 days until my first ultrasound and dr appointment ! So impatient!

@babycompton15 My OB nurse appointment is also the 7th...and no Dr until a week after-TORTURE! What do we do to pass the time??

@babycompton15 My U/S, nurse, and Doctor appointment are all the same day for 1 long appointment thankfully. I'm most looking forward to the u/s. I think that's really going to hit it home for me.
