Test-unsure of expected period date after d&c

Hi all,
Had d&c on sept 30th. Had sex on the 15(protected) and 19/29(unprotected) of Oct. I thought my period would be here by now as it used to be 28 days before d&c. I took a preg test on the 15th to see if my hcg levels were down and it was negative, and again I took one on the 29th and negative.
Any advice ?

    AF is notoriously late after a d&c.  Doctors say to call them if it takes more than 8 weeks.  My first two cycles after my d&c were longer than usual.
    TTC#1 since Jan 2015
    BFP 2/19/15  •  MMC found at 9 wks  •  D&E at 11 wks (age 36)
    BFP 8/29/15      •  CP (age 37)
    BFP 11/18/15  •  DD born at 41 weeks <3(age 37/38)

    TTC#2 since May 2017
    BFP 10/18/17  •  MMC found at 8 wks  •  Misoprostal at 10.5 wks (age 39)
    BFP 2/16/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 4/13/18      •  CP (age 39)
    BFP 5/07/18  •  MMC found at 10.5 wks  •  D&E at 11.5 wks      •  Testing showed it was a girl with Trisomy 22. (age 39/40)
    9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)
    RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.
    BFP 9/24/18  •      CP (age 40)
    BFP 5/11/19  •  Fraternal twins  •  MMC found at 10w5d (Baby A 6w, Baby B 10w)  •  Misoprostal at 11 weeks (age 41)

    Agree with PP mine took 14 weeks to return, granted I have long cycles. I know it's hard to be patient, but things will return to normal eventually.

    Thanks girls. TTC asap so extra annoying .+ feel overly obsessed with all things pregnancy -crazy Lady hormones

    I started temping again immediately after the d&c, just so I could get an idea of what was going on inside me.  My second post-d&e cycle was weirder than my first, which surprised me.  I still had hcg in my system for that second cycle, though, so yours might be fine.

    And I was totally obsessed after the d&c, too.  Mine was back in April, so the obsession is wearing off.  I still think about it every day and I'm on the boards a lot, but lots of BFN's and a chemical pregnancy have altered my expectations.

    UPDATE: I got my period on Monday the 2nd of Nov. Now I'm wondering when can I start to use my ovulation test kit as this period came 34 days after d&c. I had been bleeding two days before that too. But my periods before were a regular 28 days

    After my first loss, my cycles were pretty close to normal, so I would say expect that ovulation could occur at your normal time and start testing then.  Glad to hear you didn't have to wait too long for your period.
