A shorter list for me would be what thanksgiving foods I don't like. Lol. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! I love everything! One thing that would be on my dislike list is yams, never liked them, but I'll eat everything else.
My grandma cooks thanksgiving dinner for the most part, my aunts and I usually help out a little. I'm still trying to get my grandma to do this, but she keeps saying no. Haha. Meet the bacon covered turkey!
I'm a huge fan of sweet potato casserole (brown sugar and nuts not the marshmallow kind)
My ALL TIME favorite Thanksgiving food is my mom's mashed potatoes. Since that's a normal food any other day, I'll say my favorite side is sweet potato casserole but I've never had it without the marshmallows on top! So I found a recipe for half and half that I'll try this year! My second favorite is green bean casserole! The yogurt I'm eating just isn't cutting it now that I'm thinking about all this other delicious food!!!
Ohhh I love this thread! I have been on Pinterest this morning looking at recipes for Thanksgiving! I think it would be hard to pick just one favorite... so I will do three !
Carrot Souffle', Green bean casserole and the traditional Southern cornbread dressing!!!
My mom's homemade stuffing!!!! Sadly I will be at the in-laws this year for Thanksgiving. Hoping my mom makes some extra of all her food for leftovers that week. There is nothing like your mom's food over your in-laws.
I generally eat anything but sweet potatoes, and I'm not crazy for rolls. I'll also take all the turkey skin and you can have the meat, lol. I'm surprised my heart hasn't stopped pumping
Sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, the million different kinds of rolls we have....and there's this jello thing H's family has named "Whale Puke". I'm not sure what it is, but I love it.
I love the sweet potato casserole with nuts and brown sugar, too, funkypineapple. I'm a vegetarian so a lot of holiday foods are off limits to me, but dessert is usually my favorite part of thanksgiving
I have been waiting all year for the stuffing and green bean casseroles. This year I am going to attempt to make Pecan and Pumpkin pies. I've never made a pie in my life before so wish me luck ladies lol

I made my first pie last fall. Super easy. Definitely suggest King Arthur Flour's recipe on the crust. It was amazeballs..ETA: I felt like Paula Deen with how much butter I was using (I doubled the recipe to do bottom and top crust). But sooo worth it.
I feel like such a fatty lately omg. However, I am too excited for thanksgiving. All I really eat is the mashed potatoes n gravy, corn, stuffing, and green bean casserole.
Corn pudding, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole... Idk why I don't just make this stuff all year! Not a huge fan of turkey. But spiral honey ham is my jam!!!
My mom's homemade stuffing, and especially the stuffing she puts in the turkey. We actually make her remake Thanksgiving for Xmas. I'm not sure what will happen when she doesn't make thanksgiving dinner anymore lol. Not one of us will be able to repeat her stuff. My in-laws buy everything pre-made and in foil pans, can't do it, yuck. I'm a human garbage disposal, but I barely touch their stuff!!!
I'm a horrible person; I don't like turkey and I definitely don't like bacon. I know I know, disappointment over here.
I do LOVE the salads and side dishes. Mm. Plus stuffing with some gravy? YUM! And PIE. Ugh. I'm so mad I won't be around my family again. My aunt makes 3 types of pies and no one can ever get them the same: pumpkin & cinnamon, chocolate fudge, and some type of banana..
Mmmmm this is making me hungry! I love stuffing, pumpkin cheesecake rolls, my moms cheesecake, green bean casserole(no canned beans gross) The best is the day after making turkey, potatoe, stuffing, and gravy sandwiches with the leftovers Like others I am definitely more of a ham or pork tenderloin gal but love all the sides!
I love stuffing, turkey, mash/gravy and a family recipe of cheese potatoes! On my side we always have tamales, I love the molé and strawberry ones. On my husbands side (PR) they always have pernil.
I don't discriminate. I love all Thanksgiving food equally lol. At our house that means both versions of Thanksgiving. My very Italian husband grew up with lasagna and all those goodies, so we do that and other years we deck out with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and rolls. MMMMMMmmmmmm.
I'm excited for pumpkin pie this year. Yum. My mom also makes cranberry muffins with a sweet butter sauce - to die for. My dad would make scalloped corn, which is also amazing.
At our house we do a whole spread. Turkey, reisling peach glazed ham, stuffing, my mom's famous broccoli cheese casserole, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, chocolate cream pie, and pumpkin pie with homemade whipped cream. There isn't a favorite. I have to have it all!!!!

And of course the homemade grandma pies that are always better when they make them!
