Varicose Veins

Has anyone began to experience the pain of varicose veins? I have a cluster of spider veins on the front of my right leg which constantly feel like a bruise. Last night after taking our 3 yr old trick or treating, I was having a pain in my left thigh, above the bend in my knee. Sure enough, these veins are blue and bulging. I have been reading up and crossing the legs are a big no no that I do often. Compression socks often help with them as well. I am 23 weeks and only carrying an additional 4lbs so I'm not worried with the too much weight gain. Just concerned these ugly things won't go away after he is born. Plus, I don't like feeling like I have beat my legs to hell.

Stop crossing your legs. That is what is causing the problem. Big no no is right ! It can cause swelling too. Drink lots of water! Walking and exercise is the best for your veins.

This is my ankles. They are so painful. I have some bulging ones on my right thigh as well.
