Baby on Board signs

Do you have one in your car?  We have one but I'm not sure what the purpose is. Drivers are maniacs in my town and I don't think a baby sign makes any difference to them. Do you think they make a difference?  Do you drive differently when you see a vehicle with one?

    no, i dont have one.  No, i dont drive any different if someone has one.  I think personally they are stupid.

    No, I don't think they make a difference. Idiot drivers are idiot drivers and aren't paying attention to the Baby on Board sign.

    I agree - I don't have one and I don't like them.  People that are driving like crazies don't really care if you have a baby on board!

    I think they're ridiculous.  Honestly, they're such a joke that I would be embarrassed to display one on my car.

    We have one but I only put it up because someone gave it to us and I felt like I should use it.  I don't know what people expect other drivers to do/not do when they put this in the window.

     I saw a car awhile ago that had one that said, "Baby in Car Seat - Boards are Unsafe" on their car and thought that was really funny :)

    No offense intended but DH & I joke that those signs are actually ones of warning for OTHER drivers - they might as well say "I have a baby/child in here which means I'm going to drive completely distracted and like a dillhole but expect you to be cautious and let me drift all over the road because I shot a babe out my vag"...

    At least that's what we joke about :)

    I was thinking the same thing!  Moms can use it as a warning for other drivers...like when they go over the line because they're reaching for their screaming baby!

    No I don't, and I don't see the point. All it says to me is "HEY! There could potentially be hundreds of dollars' worth of baby equipment in here--break a window and help yourself!"

    I think they are pretty stupid and make absolutely no difference....and we have one. ?DH bought it before DS was born and was so proud that I couldn't bear to tell him that I thought it was stupid. ?So now I drive around with it. ?And feel oh so safe.

    No, we don't have one and I don't/ didn't drive differently when I saw one

    FWIW, DH is in the military and we have to go to these safety meetings every once in awhile and at the last one they warned againest signs like these due to crazy people who could potentially follow you in hopes of kidnapping etc.

    I know that the chances of something like that are super slim but why advertise, discretion is key

    After 3 very close calls in being rear ended within the span of a week or so, I got one.  I don't expect that it's going to prevent an accident, but it does seem to have people leave more room when they stop beind me.

    And FWIW, I always thought they were stupid too.
