Hi all,
I'm supposed to have my egg retrieval tomorrow and then move forward with a fresh 5 day transfer. However, when I went in for blood work and an ultrasound this morning the doctor spotted a small amount of fluid. My ultrasounds were previously clear so Im wondeting if it had to do with the letrazole and noveral i just took last night. Does anyone have any experience with this? Did the doctor cancel the fresh transfer and make you do a frozen transfer? The doctor mentioned that it could dry up when my progesterone levels go up, but now I'm nervous. We already had one unsuccessful frozen transfer and I was really praying we could do a fresh transfer this time. I want to burst into tears. Any advice or personal stories are appreciated!
Re: Fluid in my uterus is ruining my life
Hi, what a bummer!
I remember being very concerned they would cancel Bc of the fluid and ohss risk, but they never mentioned the possibility. I was actually afraid to ask Bc I didn't want to remind them! I had quite a bit of fluid still there at my wk 6 us so I was kept on restricted activity and most had cleared by wk 7. They never mentioned if it was in my uterus or just my abdomen, but I think both. I know that some REs may cancel a fresh tx if there's fluid, as I've read that it can complicate implantation, but mine elected not to. Hope this helps! GL and FX for you!
