What are you, 5-9 weeks? If you have them now, you're most likely going to get more. You'll be fine. They fade. Moisturize and do what you can.
I got stretch marks on my thighs during my first pregnancy. I felt like a crazy, purple-striped tiger woman for awhile, but they do fade away over time! It took only about a year for me. I barely even notice them anymore! There's not much you can do to prevent them, even if you moisturize. I think I read somewhere that the stretching happens below the layer of skin that moisturizer can reach, and that they are genetic (thanks mom!). I moisturized like crazy anyways though and that seemed to help the fading process.
I know it's hard not to be self conscious at first, but if you can start trying to embrace them now instead of hating them, it will make things so much easier for you. I like to think of them as a reminder of how badass I am for sacrificing my body for another human.
Unfortunately, if you are genetically predisposed to get them there is not much you can do. I got them everywhere with my first pregnancy. I mean EVERYWHERE. It was nuts. But as others have said, they fade. Good lotion after baby is here can help your skin heal better. Good luck.
Wow! Please, please don't be offended by this, but it sounds like maybe you gained some weight soon before becoming pregnant? Or maybe you're gaining a lot of weight now? Just the bloat of 5-9 weeks shouldn't give you stretch marks... I wouldn't think!
But don't worry, most women have them somewhere. I have them on my stomach, breasts, and upper thighs (but that was from puberty).
It is pretty early to be getting stretch marks already. But unfortunatelt, as others have said, there is nothing you can do to prevent them. If you are going to get them, you a are going to get them.
With my first pregnancy, I had no stretch marks. I was so happy towards the end - I think I maybe had one. Then I went and popped that baby out, my belly collapsed, and my belly was covered!!! Lesson of my story - don't get cocky. Even people who look like they have no stretch marks get stretch marks. As others have said, they've faded over time.
Re: Stress marks?????

I'm 9 weeks now, and I noticed new purple stretch marks on my right thigh this week. I've gained less than 2 lbs so far, so I guess I'm just lucky.
