The other day I saw two clear small spots on my bra in the nipple area and then the following day the same thing. I am currently 20 weeks and a ftm. I was wondering if it was normal to leak milk this early?
Yeah that's normal. Some people experience it, others don't, just like a lot of pregnancy syptoms. I don't know if most people would have even noticed two small clear dots, usually when they refer to leaking it's more substantial. Like someone else said if it picks up get some nursing pads, they'll be your friends after delivery anyway
I'm from April BMB and I'm only 16w3d and my nipples started leaking about 4 days ago and I freaked out. I posted about it and no one got back to me that's why I hate the super long symptoms threads but I came here because you ladies are farther along than me so I figured at least one person would've posted about it. So thankful I found it. I've been leaking enough that I'm worried I'm wasting it because I have no way to keep it. And if I end up keeping it, do I store it the same way you store breast milk? I'm FTM so I'm completely lost!

Don't store it. Milk has a 6 month freezer life (sometimes a year in deep freezer). But that's too much pain than it's worth. When you are actually nursing (if you decide to nurse), your milk changes for what baby needs. At this point, it's too much energy to worry about saving it (you probably wouldn't get enough at this point to bother saving it anyway).

I'm also 20 weeks and a FTM. I started leaking a few days ago as well. I've read (not that I claim it to be true) that lots of women who lactate early on don't have many problems with producing once baby gets here. Again, I don't know it to be true, but it would certainly be a perk to leaking at 20 weeks!
I leaked early my last pregnancy, when my son arrived my milk unfortunately did not come down until 10 days after having him, which was very hard on me I felt terribly that I wasn't able to nurse him, but once it did come in I had lots! This pregnancy I'm 20 weeks 4 days and no signs yet of leaking. Hoping for you when baby arrives your milk will be down and you'll be able to nurse right away (if that's what your choosing to do )
Yes, it's normal for many women. I leaked for more than half of my pregnancy with DS. And, I had no problems breastfeeding. Although, my cousin also leaked through her pregnancy and had trouble with her milk supply.
I'm 19 weeks now and starting to leak again. I'd suggest getting some cotton reusable breast pads for now since it's not much. You'll probably need some disposable ones after you have the baby. And watch out when you are being intimate, you might drip or squirt!
