Engorgement

Didn't see a thread on this.. I'm 4 days pp and experiencing the most intense pain from engorgement. I've been unable to nurse and even now when I pump nothing happens. At this point I don't think nursing is going to work and I was told that I basically need to wait it out until it dries. The pain is so severe that I can't hold the baby or walk around. Anyone else have any experience with this?

    I'm also 4 days pp and formula feeding and my poor boobs are really hard and sore. Have you tried any natural remedies like sage tea to help dry up the milk quicker?

    Sage is supposed to contain a natural source of estrogen. Also cold cabbage leaves in your bra.
