Due date pushed back w/ each ultrasound?

Ive had two ultrasounds. The first one i was thought to be 6w4d and the ultrasound measured 5w2d. I just had another ultrasound at what we thought was 8w and they put me back at 7w1d. Is this normal? Is my baby not growing as fast as its supposed to be?

Also, did they actually change your date to 5w2d and then basically three weeks later they moved you back to 7w1d?

I didnt try to figure out when i ovulated, we got pregnant without really trying. They went off my last period. But, they got a measurement of the baby in my uterus to figure out my exact due date the first time and the second time. Im just worried as to why the baby isnt growing as fast and every time they measure they move my due date because the baby isnt the size that it should be at the weeks i am. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this

My doctor wasnt there, it was just a quick ultrasound to find a heartbeat

Could be normal for you! With DS I thought I was 7w4d then they pushed me back to 6w after the sono. As a FTM and being totally naive and stubborn I kept thinking they were wrong. Especially since every sono after he was always measuring big (they usually never change the dates further on... the earlier the sono the better judgement of EDD). Joke was on me though because I went a week later than the Drs EDD and I even had to be induced! So that was 2 weeks later than what I kept thinking! This time around I thought I was 8w and they pushed me back to 6w5d so even though I have a "normal" 28 day cycle, I ovulate about a week and a half later than expected. Which means I had an idea I was pregnant days after implantation and found out I was pregnant when I was a week and a half along. So the dollar store tests do work lol good luck! I'm going back next week to look at growth.

I would talk to your MD about it at your next appointment and she what they have to say.

At my ultrasound baby is measuring 3 days small ... I was temping before I got pregnant and know that I ovulated on CD 17 and not CD 14 so it makes perfect sense.

Something very similar may have happened with you, you just weren't aware of it

I would talk to your doctor. Having it moved more than once stands out as bizarre to me.
especially moved by a two week span - do you know for sure when your LMP was? Regular cycles?

if you're irregular, maybe.
Definitely worth a discussion I would think.

This happened to me with my last pregnancy. I got moved twice. We thought I was 6ish weeks and they pushed me back to 5. Then we thought I was 8ish weeks and they pushed me back to 7. I think early on it's common. In total I was moved 11 days.

Ultrasounds can be off to up to a week either way. It happened frequently for my first pregnancy. They moved my due date around like crazy. I had been temping though and knew my due date better than the ultrasounds.

Ha ha ha thought I was the only one that finds out within a week! Love the dollar store!

@Uniquewayz the dollar store tests are a running joke with my friends! One of my friends gives a gift bag full at bridal showers for after the wedding. We all have used them and gotten pregnant. We joke the dollar store tests GET you pregnant lol It wasn't so funny when I found out with DS and DH made a joke that it might be a trick test that always reads positive.
