New to the board!

Hi! I am new to the board. My husband and I have been trying for over a year. I was diagnosed with a unicornate uterus and my husband has "slow swimmers". We met with one doctor who pressured us into ivf. Going for a second opinion Monday, to see if there are any other options, ( I think we know their aren't) but want to see a specialist who has experience with what I have. My husband was on clomid for 6 months and than on hcg injections! Trying to stay positive!! Hoping she can provide more insite and not just great news you are approved for ivf.

    I think it is always good to get a second opinion when it comes to health matters if you aren't sure, they may tell you the same (that IVF is the way to go) but at least you know it is a sound recommendation. Has your husbands motility improved with the treatments? My husband was on clomid and it really helped his count/motility and mophology but still not normal. We did IVF with ICSI due to our combined issues (see signature below).
